3 lil' kittens for adoption ... soon...
 

There is this stray meowmmy cat that roams around the back lane. I have been feeding her for months? Wanted to get her in when she was heavily pregnant but my lil' Princess Lulu been guarding the gate eversince she saw me feeding "Sweetie", that's what I call her. She is very sweet looking.

Sweetie gave birth to 5 kittens. Despite me giving her food and water, it is still a challenging world outside and now, I can only see 3 kittens. Heard from auntie that one of her kitten fell into the big drainage system and probably drowned. Not sure what happened to the other one.

I took one in last week, and today I have taken the other two indoor. They are not too healthy, watery eyes, bloated tummy ... not forgetting fleas...

In a way, I think I am mean taking them away from "Sweetie" but, I really hope to be able to find them a good home once they are healthier ....
I'll still be feeding "Sweetie" and plan to get her spayed.... but really I have a problem getting "Sweetie" indoor, Lulu will hate me to the bones, and I love Lulu too much...

I am still thinking about "Sweetie" ....

I'll be posting their pics here soon and hope to find them a good home! At this moment, they are not ready yet....

Did I mention that my kittens protested against the "new kitten" last week by peeing and pooing in my bedroom!!!!! Yes, it is a tough life being a cat or cats' slave.....{cry}{cry}

You did the right and kind thing, Lupie, Although it seems bad to take the kittens from Sweetie, they don't have much of a chance out there. They would be better with a loving owner.

I perfectly understand how you feel.I have 22 cats and kitten lepaking at my PR Lounge.trying to rehome them now.but first must send them for neuter.

Do you have the kitten pics?? very curious how these kittens looks like {wink}

and how;s sweetie? it'd be good if you can bring sweetie in and get her spayed but i understand your situation with lulu. my cats give me the same behaviour when i feed simba outside my house, and that's only feeding outside, not bringing him in!

Barley is a little furry compared to Curry and Chilli. Parsley is "furrier" (if there is such word)??
She is adorable if she is not on her "opera singing" mode ... then again, it only make her so much more special!

Are they from the same litter? I know you found one first, and then 3 of them later. Or is it the other way round? But am not sure if they all belong to the same meowmy.

I found Barley first, followed by Chilli, Curry and finally Parsley! Yeah, they all are Sweetie's babies from the same litter.

Curry - got this bloated stomach, not sure if the dewormer worked?
Parsley - still watery eyes, with flu like symptons

Still, Curry and Parsley are active, eating well ....
Curry looks very much like Cili, as though they have the same daddy!

I read somewhere, can't remember where, a dumb lady actually starved her toy poodle to death, she didn't know that she has to feed the poor doggie.... duh!!

Barley has just been adopted by Bianca. She is a nice little girl ... come to think of it, probably it is fated, Barley and Bianca....
She came for Cili, but took Barley instead....
Who can resist sexy Barley anyway!

Yes, I am sad, it will probably take me a day or two to get over it.... I'll miss the mad mad Barley!

Blackiee.... I spoke to Barley's new family and they are all very pleased with her! Even told me stories about her holding her pee&poo for 2 days and how she finally used her new litter box!!!!!

I feel she is getting a lot of attention and love from her new family members, and I am happy!

I'm so happy to hear that Barley's family is giving her lots of attention and love. I'm so relieved, too. And I know you must be, too. {happy}

I was kind of anxious about how Barley was adapting to her new home, and whether her new family is treating her well. I'm so, so glad for Barley and you.

Let's hope Cili is getting lots of love and attention from her new family, too. ya, I could see how Ginger Kor2 likes Cili....hehe.

Yes, I am happy that Barley and Cili have found their new homes. I hope they will be loved forever and ever.

At first, I was a little paranoid about giving them away "un-neutered". I am always reminded with the story of my neighbour, adopting two young kittens for their sons. Their love was not "forever". One kitten disappeared, the other one, a female, grew up and gave birth 3 times before they finally packed her and her kittens and threw them away to Sentul market. {cry}{cry}

I am sad, I didn't do much for the kittens and meowmmy. I couldn't, at that point of time, I was ill.

What's funny is, Meowmmy Sweetie, reminds me of the particular meowmmy cat.

Don't blame yourself, though. You could hardly take care of yourself at that time, in and out of hospital, so how could you have intervened and saved the meowmmy cat and her kitties? Oh dear, I really hope they are fine and healthy today. {cry}{cry}

Awwwh.....now you got me really worried about the future of Barley and Cili. I will be praying for their new families to love them foerver and ever, and ever.

I told Barley's new family about my brother's "neighbour", she understands the important of spaying Barley... :)

And also Cili's new family will spay her as soon as Cili is ready.
