This morning I went to Jalan Pinang Wisma UOA.I parked my car at the car park next to Wisma UOA. I walked out want to cross the street when I saw a long queue at the street towards to the entrance of the car park. Then I noticed 1 girl in white Viva stop her car at the car park entrance,talking on the cellphone.The long queue caused by this girl!!! I knocked on her car's window and tell her to drive away as she caused inconvenience to others.She just waved her hand and continue talking on the phone. Nice, eh?? I knocked once again and people behind getting impatience and start honking.She quickly drive away.

1st,haven't she heard hand's free?? 2nd,why don't her find a place to park her car if she wants to talk on the cellphone??

No offence (I'm female driver too you know),but mostly I saw young girls have no courtesy on the road ie.giving way when we already signal to change lane or give way at T junction. yeah,yeah,I heard you.Men did that too.1st, why would we want to be like them?? 2nd, I came across most men are quite considerate and give way if I signal,but young girls??? hardly. So girls,pls b courteous and considerate when you drive.ok {good}

hihi... lega aku seronok jer drive kat PD nih... kete tak byk... byk lori kepala sawit ngan jengkaut jer.. hihihihi... sabor june.. biasa la tu, dlm module driving class skarang mmg ada kot silibus parking merata2 nih... hahaha (sorry aaa tokey-tokey driving school)... keh keh keh... apa2 pun kene byk bersabar... but what you did is right, should tegur dia... lagi bagus kalau dpt humiliate sesikit in front of others... well, kekadang kesedaran tu dtg when something bad happened to these ppl... baru la rajin nak pakai signal light ke aper ker... aku punya citra, signal light kat tepi side mirror saja dah harga RM400... (tak boleh tukar satu... kene tukar satu set kalau kaput)... huhu.. rugii wooooo tak pakai...{good}

teringat aksi aku kejar sorg minah kat highway, siap aku potong masuk depan pastu brek mengejut... cuak minah tu sampai berenti tepi bukak emergency light.. hahahaha... tu la.. dok fast lane tp bawak mcm bawak jengkaut... tak paham tul... kete honda civic 2.0 tapi bawak 70 je atas highway apa barang... tu masih nak duduk kat fastlane... huhuhu... pening aku{shy}{shy}

betul tu.klu nak bawa mcm kura kura doklah tepi sana belah kiri.ini dok kat fastlane buat apa.mana dapat lesen pun tak tau.pantang betoi aku klu org bawa mcm kura2 tp dok fastlane.aku ni suka bawa laju so mostly dok kat lane tengah atau kanan.aku tak taulah dgn Malaysian Driver ni.klu tgk dari luaran bukan main sopan santun.tp once behind the wheel,tak tau nak kata apa {ohmygod} buat mcm dia sorang je yg bayar road tax takde timbangrasa langsung.

aku nak minta maaf dulu dgn women driver,tp aku terpaksa cakap gak.org pompuan in klu bawa keta lebih baik tak payah drive,bikin ati panas je. aku dah program dlm kepala aku mcm mana nak drive dgn observe driver lelaki.durang punya sense lebih tajam dan bagus. contohnya org pompuan ni klu kat T junction,tunggu smp suma keta abis baru nak jalan.smp besok pagi tak abis keta,kenalah cucuk dulu keta kat depan barulah org bg laluan.adus!!

i totally agree with u, june. young gals tend to lack manners on the road these days.

muahahha....we sound like aunties la....is that what happened when girls crossed the 30 year old barriers? gakakakakk!!!!

huh..aku sokong tindakan ko tuh... mmg banyak sangat driver mcm tuh... aku kalo malas nak laju biasa aku dok len tengah ato yang paling kiri... e2 pon ad orang dok beam aku...betol2 mental.. nak laju gi la lane kanan... masalah otak tol... {ohmygod}

One thing for sure.. not young girls only, sorry to say.. the cars i saw on the streets here TOO-SELDOM-ALMOST-NEVER give way.. i think the whole month i been here crossing the streets i got given way around thrice and one from mat salleh.

I tell you ar.. in Indo is not that bad, we are a big city but often they were nice enough and slow down.. here in Malaysia.. they lare like gladly to hit you and be gone with it!

Some other countries, the good ones, i you hit pedestrian.. you're doomed to hell!!

So yeah... dont get offended ya, there are plus minus lah for every country, but this one.. i have to tell you.. driving courtesy in Malaysia.. SUX!!! I feel strongly abt this! its like... PLEASE LAH... you are in a car.. i walk only, you can speed up so easy, wont die.. me what? RUN? and the worst.. just yesterday i saw a guy waiting IN THE RAIN to cross the street, until i gave him way and then he crossed. Geez!

P.S: I do give way to pedestrians and this entry not meant for anyone else who gives way..

agreed ferreted.. well most of malaysian never been outside the boundary. so, they can't see other civilized road users, in N.S.W, OZ for example, once the driver see pedestrians walk across the street, they will immediately give way to them. but here, even you've installed traffic lights for pedestrians to cross street, you might to think twice to cross it.. haha well it's been a culture here, if you see yellow light, you must speed more... hahaha.. well, you'll get use to it later... kih kih kih... {shy}

i usually hate the rain when i have to walk.. last time i used to get all wet n dirty most of time when it rains when me and my friends were trying to cross the road... the drivers saw us but would not stop.. instead the fella increased his speed and splashed us with the puddle water... {angry} eeeeuuuwww... {ohmygod}definitely dirty n had to go back to clean up before going for classes again.... usually we will end up missing that class....{ohmygod}

I agree with u, Chelly. Motorists here seldom give way to pedestrians. The worst is when it rains. I always feel sorry to see the pedestrians on the side of the road splashed with dirty water when the motorists whizzed by on the puddles. I think that's not very nice. I usually slow down in such cases so the water won't splash on them like some dirty waterfall.

Actually, Chelly, M'sians are a friendly and helpful lot, friendlier than the mat sallehs in england (i lived there for 6 years, so I do know something about them). Unfortunately, it's just that the society at large hasn't learned to be considerate towards others on the road, and have yet to learn to understand that they must queue when there is a line instead of trying to jump queue. This applies to young and old.

Thanks guys, i thought i will be kicked around for what i say, its true.. its hard to cross the street here! For blackie, i'd say that no people are born as "better person" than their counterparts in the world. Driving courtesies are just customs that are different. Sigh, yea.. Like some countries would hold doors for others but smoke in crowded place or vice versa.. Oh well.. overall I been loving Malaysia.. nice place you all got!

Malaysian are generally ok but comes to driving,we have driver from hell.I've been many countries and ashamed to say that our drivers are sucks!!! As per Ashley,no brain.

Been splashed puddles of water?? kena already,driver speed of when they see wants to cross the road,kena already.What has become to Malaysian??

courtesy needs to be nurture n taught from young {mbiggrin} it all comes down to your family, how they taught u n show u the way {mblush} i guess in this age of information technology, people wanting to get more n more money n fame, they forgot about their families........while.....internet......u can virtually do anything on the internet {msure} so people.....start picking up ur phones n dial to ur families n ask "How are you?" {mbiggrin}

{mwidegrin} make sure u dont call ur family while u r driving {msurrender} at least use a hands-free or better yet call when u are NOT driving {msure} .....ohh...n 1 more thing.....look left n right n then left again before you make the turn {mblush}

i was at the rothman roundabout yesterday
it was heavy flow cars bumper to bumper and moving
there was this idiotic driver - driving a damn honda accord coming from 3o'clock
and i was like from 6o'clock - putting signal
there was a huge gap and i cut it

that idiot was so impatient
he horns me not once, not twice but 3 times + flashing his damn light
for what so arrogant man?
uhhhh he wants to get whack is it?
in the end he wants to turn the other side also he has to wait till ppl gives him way.......
what wrong as in giving way for ppl to come in ?

i hate those cut queue...
double parking/triple parking
turn / slow down - never put signals - dont expect other ppl to read your mind -

ya lor.that's what I mean.if someone give signal surely I give way.few second different only mah why so kedekut to give way??

add in 1 more thing.i hate people who park their car in the middle or car park and end up taking up 2 lot instead of 1.come across many times already.if I find out who the driver is,they will get an earful from me {angry}

hands-free n loudspeaker is good (bonus bonus points!!!) but preferably dont pick up phone calls or talk on the phone while driving {mbiggrin} cuz it will REALLY take ur attention away {mcool} i tried not to nowadays, call back once i hav stop my buddy {mbiggrin} n oso dont text {mcanny}

do you notice when you try to turn with signal like in highway
you can see far away that person driving accelerating...

whether if you cross road or driving...and you slowly want to come out..
as far ppl flashing / horning you from a distance - my goodness....so selfish

few months back also related to your incident handphone
housing area - double lane - two way road
there was lady - i think she was on the phone
going really slow......i cannot cut because the road was really narrow
so i just follow her and start cursing at her hahaa

guess what she suddenly went driving on the right lane which is an upcoming traffic - and i was like ??? she is ok or drunk ar? she driving on the wrong lane - wrong direction already haha

Still very slow - so i took the chance to try to overtake on the same lane
guess what out of sudden she slow down
my car couldn't get pass her so fast
she suddenly make a sharp TURN without any signal wanting to turn into a backlane on the left side {angry}

luckily i was alert - I HORN HER!!!!!!!! and her whole car stopped suddenly missing few cm on my car driver's door!

if she really dont stop and i dont horn - probably i might be dead thanks to her ignorance !

rasanya klu phone yg ada built in speaker not advisable you driving sambil cakap because you need to hold the phone still.yg akak maksudkan plug in ke bontot phone yg mcm wayar dan speaker phone together dgn wayar tu.

Anyway as per Hourus,I normally don't take long winding talk when driving.klu ada kwn2 nak cakap meleret when I drive I just cakap I'm driving now karang I call you back.amik call yg pendek je.so bila kita jwb phone,dah blh tau samada yg the caller nak long winding atau pun brief talk.

yup, agree with that. so what I do is, I wait until I'm nearly ready to switch lane, then signal, and within a few seconds, i've switched lane...i cld see the car in that lane i want to turn into speed up to prevent me from changing lanes, but it was a little late for him/her to stop me....{victory}

i know what u're talking about....i had one of those phones. u don't need to use a handsfree kit - it has a built-in loudspeaker. but u'll have to make sure the microphone on the phone is near your mouth or the other party will be going, "huh..? huh..? huh..?". {grin}{grin}

same thing always happen to me,.. i thought i was the only one always kena like that...

do u guys get angry when u are queuing up at the toll to pay n suddenly 2-3 cars come through the sides n jumps queue? i will get so damn angry n purposely go closer to the front car n giving in.. i dun even look at them.. i mean come on la.. we are already waiting so long then u suka suka jump in.. bengang la kan... sometimes they even got the cheek to horn us some more.. i'll look at them n say 'apa?'.. aiyoh...{ohmygod} if think back all those situations... make me sickening mad lar....{angry}
