I have 1 new litter box and 1 use litter box for sale (pics below)

1. Voyager Litterbox. I bought it at RM71. I'm selling at RM60. New Litterbox and I never use it. I bought it 2 weeks ago. I'm in the midst of changing my cat's litter from litter sand to shredded paper.I just realized that this type of litter box is not suitable. The cat in the pic not included {shy}

yg litter box voyager tu tingginya 1 kaki 1 inci,lebar dari hujung ke hujung 1 kaki 9 inci dan lebar depan kat flap kucing kuar masuk tu 1 kaki 4 inci.kucing akak yg adt blh masuk 3 ekor sekaligus.

yg litter box 2nd hand tu lebar ujung ke ujung 1 kaki 8 inci. tp tak tinggi sgt lebih kurang 1 jengkal setengah je.

June, have you got the poo boxes to use with shredded newspaper yet? Kalau belum, the largest sized Marchioro ones are the most time saving and the shreds do not fly out with the active little feets that easily and are very easy to clean (remove the soilings and wastes), I normally do not need to rinse the boxes in the week at all, only rinse with water during weekends.

I bought for RM38 each last year and early this year before the price increase. They come in very nice, attractive colors and are quite solid.

konon2 nak ajar dorang guna paper la..dapat jimat pasir..
lgpun kat opis banyak sangat dah shreaded paper...
dari terbuang..baik guna semula...
tp......
{nah}try2 jek...sehari tinggal....
tau2 yg ade dalam litter box tuh....{ohmygod}{ohmygod}{ohmygod}
tinggal "kacang" bersalut shreaded paper tuh jek...
yg lain sume dah kat luar cage dah..berterabur...
ganas gile dorang tuh...
yg anak dara pun serupa...ikut perangai abg2 dia...{sweat}..
last23 skang nih kene pasir gak ler...tuh pun dorang kuis2 gak....

Samalah ngan kes budak-budak aku. Shredded paper yang masih dalam garbage beg, kalau ada peluang memang dia selongkar dan heret satu rumah. Bungkus garbage beg shredded paper tepaksa aku simpan dalam cage atau bawa naik simpan atas dek.
Sebab aku dok apartment, tak larat aku nak membungkus hasil buangan budak-budak tu dan turun naik dari tingkat 4 ke tempat buang sampah. Aku guna cam yang DIY cat litter tu. Terhasil saja buangan, aku angkat gi toilet, flush. Dengan 12 ekor, tiap pagi aku kena spend 1 jam clear pee dan poo dari 2 litterbox. mana tidak nya, dia bergilir-gilir guna. Kalau tak diclear, dia tak nak guna. Tapi kalau aku keja, reti lak nak share guna. Kalau aku ada kat umah, sekor-sekor guna lepas clear. Tulah, kalau tak ada 12 timbun, tak selesai lagi keja aku. Petang balik keja pun sama gak.

Abzalia, you kena pulas the shreds by a fistful beberapa kali dulu into balls so that the shreds are softer and melekat to one another. Then you put several balls into the poo box and tarik to loosen each balls slightly. Tapi the office paper keras compared to newspaper and the absorbancy if also less, so to improve, you need to pulas more to soften them. Why don't you just masukkan newspaper into the shredder instead of using office paper, it saves you time and labour to squeeze them.

{grin}pasal pulas2 tuh x bleh rasanye sebab shreaded machine kat opis saya nih jenis yg halus2 tuh....bukan jenis yg panjang2....{shy}mmg halus...

klu nk guna paper pun mmg xde masalah sebab paper mmg banyak kat opis....tp masalahnya dorang tuh mmg ganas giler....{ohmygod}korek tak hengat punya...kaw2 punye korek tuh...sampai licin litter tray... and cam soklan filin tuh..klu buat balls cam tuh..bukan lebih senang ke dorang nk main lambung2 kasih...?????{sweat}

not yet bro.I went to the petshop today browsing suma itu litter box.I like the one with filter pan.kucing kencing goes to the tray below.easy to clean the pee. tp blm decide lg.hmm!!!

Yang bawah ada berlubang tu kalau tak silap is litter box for jenis litter mcm Feline Pine. The pee soiled litter material disintegrates upon contact with pee and falls through to the bottom when you give it a shake, leaving the poo at the top for you to scoop and the pee stuff in the lower tray you just throw away. It leaves the remaining unsoiled litter in the upper tray. Tak berapa sesuai.

No need to get that type. You just line the poo box with several layers of newspaper to absorb excess pee and you throw the whole lot away leaving no soiling or smell in your poo box. That is why I like shredded newspaper so much, you throw the whole lot out, no traces of old poo or urine.

To prevent the kittens from pulling out the shreds, pulas the shreds several times so that the shreds tanggle together. Abzalia, the criss-cross type of shreds (short ones) produced by your shredder is not so good, senang bertabur. It is better to get the long shreds. Also, the litter box must have the box cover extension so that the shreds tak la senang sangat keluar (sama mcm guna litter sand, the box cover prevents the sand from flying out during digging as some cats are more excited about doing a good cover job than others which simply walks off {grin}).

Kittens are more likely to pull the shreds out when smaller and more playful. Just put them back in, they will grow out of it slowly and you will have neater toilets. Just go for litter boxes with a good height (it think the same goes for litter sand as well to keep them flying out easily. {good}{victory}

Fillin, the second box can be used for shredded newspaper well.

ok.... even with the cover.. my cats love to jump out from the box.. making all the litter sand flying out of the box... and it makes me angry....{angry}

as for shredded papers.. i did that as well... tapi habis dia tarik sumer keluar box... even the soiled ones.... how???!!! {ohmygod}{sweat}

Filin! Cats love boxes, and they love to jump in and out, playing hide and seek ... and they do not differentiate between a POO box and any old box! So why don't you think out of the box and get them several cardboard boxes and tabur them on the floor to play and they will leave the poo box alone! I collect clean hardy cardboard boxes and cut holes around for them to enter and exit from the boxes. They get new boxes every 2-3 days and play to their hearts' content! My boboy didn't get the tag "Kotak Monster" for nothing, you know! {grin}{grin}{grin}

... and DO NOT get angry with the cat for "messing up" ... it is all play for them! No get annoyed and no get angry, ahhhhhhh Filin ..... {oh}{oh}

Abzalia dan Filin,kucing2 aku tak pernah main dgn pasir dari dulu smp skrg.mgkn durang paham itu ialah tempat membuang.aku perasan durang suka sgt dgn kadbox setiap kali aku bawa balik kotak.so aku carikan kotak2 bekas computer atau kotak yg warna coklat selalu amik dari kedai tokeh runcit bg durang main.dari kotak tu blh berdiri smp lunyak dan kecai dilantai.huhuhu!! puas durang kerjakan.

skrg ni aku ada belikan durang toys baru.kotak dan takde.so durang tengah lepaskan gian dgn toys baru.itu adik aku belikan dari UK.dia balik for good dah awal bulan ni.ada cat tunnel,sisal scratching pad dan ada yg mcm tikus2 tu.kurang lbh ada 8 toys baru.dah lunyai durang kerjakan nanti kena fikir toys lain pula.he!!he!!

June, you hit the nail direct on the head! Yes, of course the cats have to be taught gently what is poo/pee stuff (no play stuff!) and what is play stuff. I teach them never to play with newspaper (their litter raw material), plastic bags (dangerous, not to mention garbage holders), never to scratch my furniture, sit quietly while we have our dinner, no begging at our human mealtimes, etc. People always show surprise that my FurKids NEVER scratch on my furniture. {happy}

Like human kids also lah, their parents never teach them anything, then they end up swearing and samseng and the parents scratch their heads tanya mana diorang belajar buat tu semua ... {oh}

Furkid,I ajar my anak2 bulus not not climb the table bila kita makan atau when I'm cooking panjat sana sini.kacau kaki kita time makan.they never beg for food time kita org makan.suma tengok je.mata terkebil2 dari jauh. atau korek2 sampah pun tak pernah buat.dulu2 dah kena libas dgn aku klu durang buat mcm tu. {good}my family kata my kucing suma sopan santun.he!!he!! like u saidlah,klu kita ada anak pun mesti kita ajar durang basic manners mah!!

durang suka cakar2 kotak.asal nampak kotak mesti cakar. so byklah my kotak2 yg dibawah pulang dah jadi aruah.he!!he!!he!!

Filin,aku tak tau cara org sebab aku ajar ikut aku punya pemahaman sama kucing.setiap kali durang bergolek atas pasir tu (waktu kecik2 dululah) aku angkat dan letak luar dan aku tunjuk sign no no dgn jari telunjuk.tp jgn marah durang atau pukul durang. pastu aku goyang2 kan rotan tu.konon2 bg penekanan.setiap kali durang masuk lg aku buat mcm tu amik kuar dan kasih goyang2 itu rotan dan jari. lama2 mcm durang paham pula. adalah beberapa kali aku pun tak ingat.smp durang lama2 tak main dgn pasir dah.pastu pastikan ko ada enough toys utk durang occupied.kdg2 kucing boring pun dia main apa yg dia nampak. skrg ni durang nampak aku angkat rotan dan goyang2 kan rotan tu durang paham maksudnya no.so apa2 dajal durang nak buat,tak jd. kdg2 suara aku panggil tp ada tekanan pd suara durang paham yg aku marah.kelakar tau klu aku tgk durang.mcm paham je. tp mmg paham.contohnya semalam si peterpan kerjakan si orange.dia nak main2 dgn orange tp dia tak tau yg si orange tu size lebih kecik so klu rough sangat pun matilah kawan tu.aku panggil dia "Peter........" dia terus stop (nada suara yg dgn tekanan). dan dtg kaki aku gesel2.konon2 nak redeem kesalahan dia. {shy}

tp tuh ler..bila dalam cage jek...nampak kite balik keje, berebut si Chello & ChiChi nk bergolek dalam litter tray tuh...{ohmygod}{ohmygod}..manja salah tempat...bukan x angkat..angkat..masuk balik....{ohmygod}sekor kuar...sekor plak masuk...{nah}..klu time tukar pasir, cam tuh gak...letak jek pasir baru, berebut nak golek2 dalam tuh...pasir baru x pe gak...nih yg pasir dah sehari 2{ohmygod}..sebab tuh klu nk masuk umah..kene mandi dulu{nah}

skng nih dalam cage tuh gulung satu kotak tempat dorang garu2 @ asah kuku...DIY kunun2nya....tp tahan lama....{good}..belikan bola utk dorang...kita baling bola...dorang bertempiaran macam kita nih baling bebola API jek...x caya..tanye Filin...best jek tgk Emot main bola mlm td...harap tggu emot jek la nk main bola tuh...{shy}{shy}aduiiihehhhh

June.....meja mkn kat umah tuh dah buat cam meja mak dia...klu nk tido...bukan classssss dia nak tido bawah meja..mesti atas meja gakk{ohmygod}{ohmygod} klu nampak kita bawak spray air @ Ridsect, baru dia turun...cam anak2 dia plak..klu kite buat2 x nampak, ade la pasang strategi nk naik tp klu kita buat "sora nyah" skit...x jadik la....anak2 dia x berani klu kita tegur...tp klu kita tgk jek...dorang ape lagi....{ohmygod}bab2 nak mintak makanan nih,,dengan aku jek anak2 dia nak..Mak dia x nk...dia x heran sangat ko makan apa...sebab mak dia x makan makanan lain selain dr Whiskas @ Frieskes dia..sampah pun dia x kacau....just pegi cium2 jek..lepas tuh blah..sama cam kita letak pizza ke...KFC ke depan dia..dia x heran kecuali ko suap KCF kat dia..dia makan tp sikit la...

cam anak dia plak, sbb sblm nih penah ajar makan nasik gaul ngan wet food,so sampah tuh ade gak nk kacau2 klu kita x tgk...tgk & buat sora nyah sekali..setakat tgk..jeling la sampai juling...dorang x heran..setakat nih rotan2 dorang x takut...kat umah aku pakai buluh halus tuh..satu persatu buluh perhiasan tuh berkurangan....dorang plak, nampak aku bawak buluh tuh..bukannye takut...dorang seronok sebab bleh kejar2 buluh tuh..buat aksi lompat2...tp klu spray tuh...dorang lari laa..aduuuuehhhh{ohmygod}
