Hahaha... I knew this was a trap... and sorry to say but sorry... I don't hang out at Murni!!! It's too crowded... parking is killer, service is slow, and jam packed to the max. I chill out at more low-profile places.... hehhehehe
And FYI, the other half of the Notorious Duo seldom goes out to yumchar... |

dog is my buddy has it correct, i love beer but have to cut down coz the gut is slowly becoming the main organ of my body!!! just set a date guys... and place... and i'll be there... |

Haha.. yes Roy, I'll be naming Murni as one of them! ahahah.... yeah the place's damn crowded and they literally swallow up the whole damn street from end to the other at night...
But I more frequently hang out at Kayu in Chow Yang - the blood-sucking mamak place which will empty your pockets when you leave hahaa... but since it's the most convenient spot for me (my music studio is right next to kayu), so I'm just too lazy to move my ass another feet further than necessary for food haha... My typical uncreative quick meal there consists of Indo Mee goreng and Mango Lassi... but when I have more time, I'd go for Tose with DOUBLE Cheese, adding on a plate of curry mutton... goes nicely together, yummyy! p/s: NEVER drink watermelon juice in Kayu - a small watery glass goes at RM4+, in Ming Tien you get a JUMBO one for just RM4.80 only! |

I'm no great big fan of mamaks as i don't understand the "pull" of the place - food is not cheap, not delicious but i can appreciate a place to hang out with your friends.
however i dig indian food and when i go to either a mamak or indian restaurant (after having ascertained that its kitchens and toilets are clean), i will try to order what malaysians' do not order - i don't really like to follow the crowd. but i do prefer indian shops and restaurants to mamak's. |

Hahaa... not the type for band jamming... this is actually a music school for teaching contemporary and classical vocals, which we've refurbished and doubled it as a music production and recording studio. We use it for our own song productions, as well as to train up some potential students (read: cute, young chicks) ahaah.

I hope I'm not too late in posting here.....
I DONT REALLY LIKE MURNI!! Too many siew kiongs running around and what shall I call the other fat crawling black ones with long tails? Fei Chai? Those siew kiong can fly too!!! {sweat}{sweat}{sweat}{sweat}{sweat} Fei Chais dont disturb me as much but those siew kiongs YUCKS YUCKS YUCKS....... crawl never mind, blardy hell, they FLY too....... aiya..... last result lah murni. Super last result ok. {sweat} Yerrr... think of the siew kiongs, i geli already. {sweat} And yes like roy says, "the other half of the Notorious Duo sleeps early as she gets up quite early to go to work"... of cos lah.... how to tahan with only 6hrs of sleep... dah lah midvalley parking can get full by 9AM, of cos I am so not going to walk 1/2 a mile to get to my office from my car lah. If you are not working in MV area, everyday go MV for what? Parking no need money ah....*rolls eyes* *now where is the rolling eyes smiley?!* Me working in Menara IGB. So must go early to get my parking spots which is less than 100 steps to my office. HAHA. (X steps from car to lift + X steps from lift to Menara IGB's lift + X steps from lift to my cubicles = <100). If go late ah, die lah.... have to park at all the odds and ends spots that nobody wants. |

Back gate of Istana Negara is accessible like this via the slip road to Jalan Robson off Federal Highway. When you enter the slip road, there'll be a small Chinese temple on your right (not to be confused with Thean Hou Temple which is further down the road, and up the hill on the left).
You'll then see a road on your left named "Lorong Syed Putra Kiri". Take this road, go all the way to the end, you'll pass a high rise building called "Le Chateau II", then a low rise building called "Le Chateau" (I used to live here). After Le Chateau, you'll come to the cemetery. Take the left. Follow all the way, and somewhere (don't know how to give directions from here) there is the back gate of the king's palace, as well as some nice Ikan Bakar stalls. Very packed during lunch time. Robson Condo can be seen from across this cemetery if you know where to look. It's also a good place to view the fireworks from KLCC on 31/12, that is if you are not afraid of your dead quiet 'crowd'. Quote:

err!! sorry guys.I'm not really into mamak food.greasy and overprice.but my hubby told me there's 1 mamak restaurant selling good food near our area.Tmn Maluri, KL. Another plus point,their never reheat their dhal gravy.everyday fresh dhal {happy}
