Vietnam mmg best.mgkn org yg kurang adventure kata tak best.cuma org Vietnam ni agak stiff dgn visitors.mgkn pasal perang dulu kisahnya. Si Bina ari tu pergi Cambodia.klu aku ditanya aku kata Cambodia lg best dari Vietnam.tp mcm mana pun dua dua best.blh insaf klu pigi sana.kat Malaysia kita makan cukup,pastu complain itu ini tak sedaplah,bazir2 makan.duduk kat sana makan tak cukup,budak2 kecik tak pergi sekolah.daif betul.

I work in a travel agent.My job require me travel within SEA.I've been to Thailand,China,Indonesia,Vietnam and Cambodia.Next month I'm going to Australia.This the best part of my job.They pay me to travel.hah!!hah!!hah!!

June, aku setuju statement ko yang bold tu... masa aku on the way nak gi siem reap dari phnom penh, tengahari ada sorang lelaki yang agak2 tua jugak kudung dua2 kaki duduk tengah jalan. Sib baik jalan dia orang tak macam sini tak banyak kereta... Bila aku tanya driver tu dia kata orang tua tu nak bunuh diri sebab tak tahan dengan kehidupan dia. Sedih aku June teringat2 sampai balik KL, bertuahnya kita kat sini.

Waa.....June, sama la kita. Akak pun suka travel. That's my one and only hobby. But unlike you who are paid to travel, I have to pay to travel. Nice to see yr pics, especially those yg akak recognize.

Yg civil war tu, setau akak, dekat border Thailand - Cambodia. Isunya, berebutkan the long forgotten Preah Vihear, temple yg ada nilai2 komersil utk dibangunkan bagi tujuan pelancongan.

You are right, org2 kat Msia yg suka huru-hara kan keadaan aman kat negara ni & org yg merelakan diri mereka diperbodohkan oleh mereka2 yg ada kepentingan politik peribadi, seelok2nya dihantar ke Cambodia & Vietnam. Biar diaorg tenguk camne seksanya kehidupan bila negara huru-hara. Biar diaorg tgk kekejaman Polpot di cambodia & kerakusan Amerika waktu perang Vietnam. (Hee...heee....Akak belum gi Vietnam lagi). Planning to do so, InsyaAllah, nak link terus ikut silk road, ke tibet & nepal. So as Mount Bromo, planning to go. The view looks like heaven (mcm la pernah tgk syurga {happy}). Tapi nak gi Indo lately, takut laa....asik gempa jer.

So you kejer kat travel agency mana ? Nanti ape2 hal boleh la akak mintak tolong book flight ticket ke apa ke...{happy}

Akak biasanya travel independant (backpacking). Tak minat sgt gi dgn package cos terikat. I like to plan my own route, schedule etc. Cuma kena byk buat homework laa. Dah pergi ke almost 30 negara. Ada yg dah pergi lebih dari sekali, mcm Thailand, Indo, Oz. Terbaru akak gi India & Sri Lanka (2 weeks). Memang best, sebab langsung tak de masalah (6 bulan buat research dlm internet) !!! Kata org, kalau kita boleh survive backpacking kat India, then you can survive anywhere else in the world. Yg tak tahan, sejuk sgt, cos winter. Masa kat Shimla & Kufri, temp minus 12. Tapi nak ski punya pasal, redah jer la.

Paling giler2, akak buat solo backpacking (jalan sorang2 diri & make frens with other travellers along the way) ke Europe (3 minggu) & OZ-NZ (3 minggu juga). Byk cabarannya. Maklum la, kita kena adapt dgn segala2nya yg serba tak sama dgn kehidupan kita. Different culture, different ppl, diff religion, diff languange, diff environment, food etc. Bila akak travel, akak akan opt for the second cheapest option, so that I can experience the local's lifestyle.....I travel like locals, I ate like locals & try my best to talk like locals. Memang best...tapi ada gak yg tak berapa best. Paling tak boleh lupa masa kena follow dgn mat gelap (black) around 11pm from Barcelona HRC balik ke hostel tpt akak menginap & kena kacau dgn hantu dekat satu hostel yg berhantu di YHA, Greymouth, New Zealand. Those were really scary experiences. Paling sedih, bab2 hantu ni, bila kita citer kat org putih ni, diaorg tak caya & mula ingat kita imagining things. Padahal, it's real !!!! Akak tulis ni pun, naik bulu roma. Teringat2 lagi, seramnya.....That is why, to me, everytime I go travel, I came back a different person, a much better person.

So far antara crazy things yg akak pernah buat waktu travel adalah solo travelling (yg akak cakap tadi), bungy, glacier hiking & white water rafting kat NZ, kayak expedition di Nam Khan river, Laos, rent motorbike & travel keliling Bali island & join bicycle expedition kat Bangkok. For my age, not bad huhhh.....{wink}

Hopefully, mid Nov ni akak backpack ke Iran (cover 3/4 of the country & nak main ski kat Dizin, Tehran) & naik Trans Asia train ke Istanbul (3 hari, 3 malam perjalanannya). La ni, selain bz buat research utk tesis, akak lebih2 bz lagi buat reserach utk 2 negara nih.....That's where my scholarship money goes. {wink}

mmg betul kak.klu saya pun suka pigi backpackers.baru kita nampak dunia yg sebenarnya.klu ikut pakej kita terikat.yg plan nak round 1 europe thn depan.malaslah nak bawa kawan2.byk ragam.pergi sendiri senang.nak buat apa pun boleh. kdg2 org tak blh ikut rentak kita. dasat gak akak punya itinerary tu.saya pula yg teruja lebih2.wakakakakakak!!! alangkah bagusnya ye klu dapat travel mcm tu. yg gi china tu saya pergi dgn suami saya.10 hari kat sana.dulu ingat plan nak ke India tp husband saya ni leceh sikit mcm org pompuan.dia tak blh duduk tempat mcm hostel atau makan yg kotor2. hish!! org lelaki zaman skg ni bukan mcm dulu. {grin}{grin} kita pompuan pula yg tak kisah benda2 tu.yg bulan depan nak gi australia pun sama.dia nak join tour,saya kata buat apa,kita gi sendiri2 lah.sebab lepas kerja tu saya extend stay.sewa keta nak round sendiri.dia pula takut2.hmm!!! skrg ni saya nak kena amik tips klu nak backpackers ke tempat2 yg akak gi.{wink}

Backpack laa best. You get the true taste of the local's life. Hb akak pun backpacker gak. Kalau timing sesuai, kami backpack bersama, klu tak akak backpack sendiri, dgn kwn2 atau dgn Ica. Klu jln dgn Ica, akak tak perlu map. He's very good in remembering routes.
Tentang tips, kalau tempat yg akak dah sampai, no prblm...
Nanti akak upload gbr dlm post sebelah (penghulu startkan post tu). Internet ni slow sikit laa.....
