Pet Insurance in Malaysia?
 

Hey there. I'm not exactly sure where to place this thread.

I have a few questions and would like to know any information regarding pet insurance in Malaysia.

First, is there pet insurance in Malaysia?

I searched for it on yahoo which lead me to this site http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...8012615AAK1hP6, which made me search for MSAVA, whose site that I can't open for the time being.

I googled for the same thing and found http://www.pet-product-reviews.com/2...cats-and-more/ and the link that directs to the pet insurance site is also not available.

Second, if there's no pet insurance available in Malaysia, what do think of it if it were made available?

Finally, would you buy pet insurance for your pets? Why?


That's about the questions I have in mind at the moment. Please discuss, share your opinion, and information/knowledge regarding pet insurance in Malaysia.

as i know..there is no such insurance for pets in Mesia..perhaps u can start the 1st of its kind{victory}{victory}

I've never heard of pet insurance in Malaysia either.

I googled and searched online and found the said sites above, but both sites are not available anymore for some reason..

And I found people - on another forum and the thread was dated 4 years ago - saying that they've bought PGI's (refer second link) pet insurance plan before. Which is kinda odd if it suddenly disappeared just like that.

Haha. I wish it was that easy to create a pet insurance plan that would satisfy every pet and their owner's needs. {cry2}

Though, do you guys think that it is necessary or even helpful to have pet insurance for your pets?

I would say yes, but it totally depends on the insurance plan right? :)

{wink}i agree wif u alya..successful or not the unsurance plan depends on the clients need..in this case owner & the pet itself..perhaps the time is not right at this moment to launch insurance for pet..

What is the insurance cover actually? Any website and detail? Just wonder coz I never heard it before..

it cover veterinary fees due to accident,disease,illness,accidental death,burial/cremation expenses,third party liability.is a insurance issue by kurnia.it got plan 1 and plan 2 ......if u want to know more u can contact me

pet lost not included.But we will give your dog a id tag and your pet must have microchip.if anything happen,we have lost pet alert and contact service .we will call SPCA,animal shelter,DBKL and others member to help find ur dog.
