any opinion about shampoo brand davis???
 

my cat byk sgt kutu(kecik warna putih)...tak tahan nak tgok smpi kutu2 kat muka n sluruh badan..da letak jg frontline tp masih juga....so petshop ada syorkan brand davis ni....katanya bleh kurangkan kutu tu...betul ke???takotplak gugur bulu kucing nant...so saper experince guna shamppo ni?

I'm using Davis...but which kind do you have?
Davis Triple Pyrethrin Shampoo or Davis All Natural D'Limonene Shampoo?

If Davis Triple Pyrethrin Shampoo, it is very safe for kitties even puppies.
Ade coconut extract, lanolin and Aloe.
It removes loose dandruff, dirt and scales. Leaves the coat soft and shining. Kills fleas, lice, and ticks on dogs , cats, puppies and kittens.
It is best flea killing shampoo for dogs and cats that we used until now.
We used it once a month for maintenance since my kitties have no fleas.

After sapukan semua kepala dia with damp towel, including ears/face.
Lather Davis directly in wet fur and leave it for 2 - 3 mins kalau tak sejuk 5 mins. Make sure dia tak jilat. Last rinse, I always dilute water with apple cider vinegar like Bragg's.
Kalau u tak nak dia ade kutu lagi, add few drops of apple cider vinegar in your kittie's drinking water. Fleas hated the smell and taste of vinegar.
And gave her Brewyer's Yeast, a day in her food... it has garlic formula supaya mengelakkan kutu as well.
This also can give your kitty a shiner and less shedding of furs.Memang berkesan.

If you are sure your cat has fleas and ticks, then you need to treat your house for complete flea control.
Most importantly, if you have just discovered the fleas and ticks on cats, then quarantine your cat to one room for complete cat flea control and to prevent fleas from spreading to other furry friends in your home.
Vacuum the whole house to get rid of any fleas and ticks on the floors or furniture especially blankets/cushion/carpets.
You can also use Frontline spot on combo to get rid of any fleas / ticks/eggs/larvae on your cat.
You can spray the house with the flea and tick spray to kill any clinging fleas and ticks.
Make sure to wash your bedroom and other rooms very well too.
Any closets or wardrobes must be thoroughly washed and checked.
Also her cage , food bowls, cat litter pan and where she plays or sleeps must be throughly clean/wash.

Flea is more harder to control because they suka sorok in dark places and bertelur. They can come again to your kitty or to you. Just like fungals, they are parasites that easily picked up in dirty places outside your home.
