Tri colour local cat
 

Halo cat lovers, kinda curious here. All my cat lover friends in Sabah ask the same question over and over again? How come there are no tri colour male? All the tri colour my friends got are female. They say it's very hard and never saw a tri colour male b4{sweat}. Y ler? Any suggestion?

eh,orang sabahkah Vivi?? Sabah mana tu?? me also Sabahan.Di KK. Actually,when I was a kid,we have 1 male calico (tricolour).tp dia bisu.ndak boleh mengiau but don't live long,2 thn saja. he was a rare cat. if you notice,when the mother cat gave birth to calico male,she will eat the kitten almost immediately.probably it has to do with their nature.

The color gene is found on the sex chromosome, like the human female has the XX chromosomes while the guys have the XY. If a tri-color male kitten is born, it will die because of the genetic flaw, and as nature seldom wastes, the mother eats the sick or dying kitten for nutrition.

si Furkid to mcm vet bergerak.dia byk baca buku yg berkenan dgn binatang.sia pigi tgk itu buku harga seratus lebih ringgit.bergegar tangan pegang.mana ada duit mo beli buku mahal2.so si FK tu org kaya baru.wakakakakak!!! jgn marah FK.gurau saja.

FurKids, does that mean tri-color male, memang won't survive after birth (die on its own) or died cause the mother ate it? What say, we see and save it b4 the mother eats it...dia mmg xkan survive jgk ke?

Hehe...don't know if anyone heard of the story...but there's a story (although illogical), if a tri-color male survives he will become the king of cats...so the father would eat it, cause they don't want to have a king...

pnah jugak baca info kat magazine yang klu ade male calico, kemungkinan besar kucen tu mandul..tak tau la fakta atau auta..hehehehe..

No la, my friend, I dono so many things la, I just kelintong korang aje ... Gua poket kosong ahhhhhh ... itu FurKids hisap habis kering kontang dahhhhh!!! Mereka ingat Papa dia cetak $$$ ... Saya just rajin baca sebab sayangkan mereka and secondly, untuk kelintong korang aje ...No point saving it la, Nana, nak jadi "slave" kepada normal, healthy muka sepohsen pun dah penat mampus ... normally the tri-color male will not survive on its own because of defects tapi if it does in rare cases, mcm Nik Tropicana cakap, it will be sterile. It will definitely not be healthy enough to even be the prince of cats.

Nana, i never heard that king cat rumor but i heard this from my other friends b4. A male tri colour are very rare or maybe does not exist ( but Kak June confirm they do existlah kan?) If u have a tri colour male pet, it will bring good luck and fortune to ur house. Jadi, KAK JUNE!!!! Lu punya luck baguskah masa tu? Ada banyak untung untung family lu? HAHAHA. Just kidding. Don marah ye..{cattongue}

Wah so pretty. I try to get my friends tri colour cats for u guys to c oso. She's a tri colour cat crazy. She got 4 tri colour but unluckily 2 cats just passed away due to some sickness. {cry}

Last week sudah balik KK.maybe end of this mth balik lagi. {victory}

yeah,very rare case for male calico tp sia ada 1 ekong masa kecik2 tulah.walaupun bisu tp kita org sayang dia.2 thn saja umur dia.my mum bilang male calico ndak boleh hidup lama. huhuhu!! pandai juga org tua zaman dulu2. mgkn durang tidak tau dari segi saintificnya tp tau secara layman term. {shy}

Calico Cats
