Hi, I just browse thru utube n saw this clip. They r saving 80 dogs lives from being putting down. Bravo.

hi vivi, this was last year's effort...
but the fact is, puchong pound and other dog pounds put down dogs every few days or every week, to make space for newly caught dogs... the cycle of dog catching and putting dogs to sleep is never ending in these pounds... lynie, the men and lady in uniform are a team of fire and rescue volunteers... |

It's the Fire and rescue Volunteers. Who knows maybe one of petfinder is from the MVFRA. I saw this and think, who knows maybe next time just in case u guys need this info. Hope can be useful to everybody.

thanks so much for telling us about mvfra!! i didn't know about them..
my brother and i have come across animals drowning in flooded drains on more than one occasion.. and due to the narrowness of the grates and openings, we could not reach them. now i've just found a phone number for emergency animal rescue in klang valley on that website!!!!! {good} |

i keep the emergency number in my hp since last year after having found out abt mvfra...
i have personally contacted mvfra on 2 separate occasions, the recent one being only yesterday... both times there was a dog stranded in the middle curb between 6 lanes on a highway... mvfra responded quickly on both calls... i'm very grateful to them for doing animal rescue and saving animals in distress... one note tho, i think the rescued animal will be sent to puchong pound, so if possible and the caller has the means to foster the animal, the caller could stay back and then take over from mvfra after the animal is rescued... {good} |
