Building a dog kennel
 
Just to share my DIY dog kennel which I'm working on :)

Stage 1 : Find a suitable location.

Stage 2 : Get the raw materials. Wood, L-brackets, T-brackets, lots of screws in all sizes, nails, paint and tools.

Stage 3 : Build the base

Thanks adamyala :) Anyway here's the final result :

Stage 6 : Paint, roof and SPCA family members...finished hahahaha...all bones aching from 2 days work

wow...very impressive Kevin. For two days work, that is incredible. But to be honest with you, it looks a little unstable to me. Maybe you plan to do something to make it sturdier, so that the dogs wont be able to escape. I mean...they will get bigger and stronger you know what I mean.

Anyway good job...and I know you could do better {good}
and also very kind of you to adopt the two little sweet doggies from the shelter

waaww.. looks amazing... i wish i can build one too! amazing.. those SPCA fam members are gorgeous.. sure they'll bring you joy and happiness... sooo sooo happy!

Hehe I agree. I tried make an enclosement area for my dog with the chicken wires (like the ones u are using). At first it was ok. but then once they grow bigger. they can easily distroy the fence. I had a fence like urs too, now it end up like a floor mat. hahaha. Even my metal cage become too small for her. they grow really fast!.I find Chains and Leash are the best way now. hehe

but i like your kennel. very nice. :). look kindda proffesional. :){good}

hahaha thanks guys. I'm already in the process of upgrading the cage to full metal cage. Getting some quotes now from the cage makers...hahahaha :)

Maybe cover the top too :) in case your dog becomes an escape artist hehe
