Cat having separation anxiety?

Dear all,

I got a cat 2 month ago from SPCA. She is 1+ year old. My cat spends a lot of time alone when I'm at work and I think she is developing separation anxiety although doctor said there's no such thing for cats. She grabs my housemates leg and starts to bite when she knows that we're leaving the house. She also keeps mewing and demanding attention. Would it help to get another cat at home?
Thanks.

I think your cat is lonely. Why don't u get her a companion?? Kitten will be better. So that she won't feel intimidate. I read in the cat book this behaviour that the cat is lonely. That is why when you want to adopt cat, advisable to take 2 cats.

true2..dulu ms i bela sekor..i kesian tgk die boring..tdo je all the time.i amek lg sekor utk jd kawan die..nampak la perubahan..dh ade kwn ni derang main same2..lari sana sini etc.xde le asyik tdo je all the time.

skrang i dh ade 4 ekor..ha lg la meriah.nasib baik 3 je active..lg sekor tu pemalas dan pendiam sket.

ape pun nk amek kucing tgk budget u jugak..mcm i ni bele 4 ekor..kene le selalu ikat perut esp time derang sakit..sbb derang ni jenis sakit serentak.payah btoi.

Hi booboo,
there's an adoption fee of RM100 (for a neutered cat). More info: http://www.spca-penang.net/adoption-procedure.html
