so, it might not be cat meat, could be just an attempt by the marketing team to sensationalize the product....it sure made us notice it and sure made me check it out, didn't it? maybe that's what the marketing dept was hoping for....

Yes, fish bait it seems, if its only an attempt by the marketing team to sensationalize the product, why "CAT MEAT" not "DOG MEAT" & SPICY summore............

If its real cat meat for fish bait, its kinda funny, coz normally cat eat fish, & its the other way round now.

Fish in UK having gud taste, variety of choices they hv, such as pineapple, sweet corns, strawberries....... meat range are Spicy Cat Meat & Luncheon Meat..... strange....

saja nak tanya (sesi percambahan dan perkongsian pendapat je)...kenapa bila ada org makan atau proses daging kucing atau anjing kita rasa tak berhati perut tetapi bila org makan daging ayam, kambing, lembu, puyuh, arnab, rusa, ular,khinzir...kita tak rasa apa pun sedang kan yang lain tu binatang jugak.....

saya setuju. sebab budaya. tapi sekiranya budaya sesuatu masyarakat tersebut memang sejak dahulu kala memakan anjing atau kucing so pada mereka tiada perasaan....sama sahaja seperti memakan ayam lembu atau kambing. seperti org yang menjadikan ayam katek atau burung sebagai haiwan peliharaan atau arnab....adakah mereka memakan daging ayam atau burung atau arnab?

I am the opinion that if animals are being bred for their meat, then they should be respected (not tortured) when their time come.
I am sure you guys have heard of a very old tale of how they savour on brains of monkey being fried alive? That's torture.

I have to find out more about the "CAT MEAT" though ... personally, I cannot accept it laaa...

Ya, heard of that, they tie the monkey under the table with a hole on top, saw open the monkey's skull alive, open the skull like a coconut, pour wine or hot soup in it, and then........juz scoop with spoon and eat like a Tou Fu {vomit} {vomit}.

The monkey will then struggle & sqeaking like hell under the table, till his time end........{ohmygod} {ohmygod}{msad}{msad}

Thats human....., so, I suggest, be a vegetarian...{good}

In my personal opinion & experience...
Kat UK diorg ade akta tersendiri utk pelihara/lindungi binatang...
diorg xleh sewenang2 je buat produk drpd haiwan!

So agak pelik bila dgr "Cat Meat" dr UK...{scared}
better meke some research on this... {victory}

My mum visited Hong Kong in the 1980s with her colleagues and when she came back, she told us that the tour guide took them to a restaurant where one of the "dishes" was a monkey tied under the table, exactly as how you described. The restaurant staff poured brandy onto the brain of the alive, kicking and screaming monkey and asked them to just scoop up the brain and eat it....my mum said it was extremely awful.


I couldn't find the list of ingredients, so I am doubting that the product is made in UK. There is a law in UK requiring all food ingredients to be listed, in the order of their proportions.
