hello i need help badly
I have 3 cats and two full grown dogs that i desperately need homes for in the next month as i am moving to a place that doesn't allow animals. The dogs are both wonderfully personable and I have had both since they were puppies neither are anything special to look at but as i said great personalities. Can anyone help me find homes for them? I don't want to send them to the shelters if it is at all possible to avoid. I can be reached at konrai@gmail.com if anyone can help.
Thanks, Amala |
Re: hello i need help badly
I guess you had no choice but to move to a place that does not allow animals, so perhaps the key question is now, why does the place you are moving to not allow animals? Perhaps there is some way for you to negotiate so that, in the very worst case, you keep your cats, and hopefully in the very best, but not impossible case, you keep your dogs too? I can imagine it will be very heart breaking for you if you give them up.

What kind of dogs do you have? If small breed, I can consider adoption... Let me know.

Re: hello i need help badly
I'm moving to an apartment and the dogs have never been kept in cages longer than a car ride to the vet. Also there is a strict no pet rule to keep ppl from keeping 10 or more cats :) They are not very small but not large either I can carry both separately and probably could do both together if pressed. it is a mother daughter pair and I really want to keep them together. The mother is 5 and the daughter is 3. Both are fully house trained and well behaved they don't jump up unless they are hungry and you have dinner. Great guard dogs will bark if ppl are acting odd but not just at the kids going to school. I hope someone will take them also they have never even offered to bite anyone. barked at yes snapped at no.

Re: hello i need help badly
I am sure your dogs and cats will adapt very quickly and thrive very well as indoor pets in your new apartment (indoors, but not in cages!). Have you considered giving it a try? My impression is that the "strict no pet rule" adopted by (all?) apartment complexes here might be more to deal with people who keep unruly dogs i.e. ones that bark and cause noise and nuisance at all times (not the dogs fault though) I suspect that some people in your new apartment complex already have dogs and cats, perhaps you could ask around? You obviously love your pets and perhaps your move does not really mean you need give them up? Anyway, hope things work out for the best for you and your pets! :-)
