Ada satu so-called pet shop yang baru buka di atas Prangin Mall. I tengok dia bawak semua barang Purina + Whiskes and none are from good brands. Masa mula2 dia bukak okaylah.. barang2 aja.. tempat dia pulak, betul2 tepi Pusat main game.. Bunyi bisingnya tak yah bagitaulah... bising sangat.. Then last week , I saw them buat sangkar tepi pintu... I was like.. OMG.. clearly this owner tak tahu proper way of handling life animals ..dahlah pet shop bising amat.. buat sangkar pulak dalam tue.. I dah aim lama da ingat nak g cakap lah sket.. tapi memikirkan business ornag biarkan aja lah..

So , ari nie I pergi..nampak ada 2 ekor persian yang amat cantik.. satu kaler hitam putih dan satu smokey black.. dalam satu sangkar yang paling kecik..kurus, nampak tak sihat and duduk kat sangkar yang tak siap lagi... I sengaja pergi tanya pasal spot on flea ( they dunno what the hell is spot on)..muahahah then I tegur, napa u letak dalam sangkar kecik.. they are such beautiful cats... Salesgirl macam terkedu..dia keluarkan kucing2 tue bagi i tengok.. memang tak sihat..

reason I tulis kat sini..nak calling2 sapa2 yang nak kucing.. dia memang letak murah tetapi sakit sket..telinga cam penuh flea and kurus.. tapi EXTREMELY BEUTIFUL kalau jaga bebetul..kaler tue pulak susah nak carik.. Sekor jantans ekor betina..lupa da yang mana satu..

1. Black and white DLH around 3-4 months
2. Smokey Black DLH around 2-3 months

one for RM350.. 2 for RM700 kot.. I bukan nak menggalakkan membeli kucing tapi I can't get my mind of the fact diorang duduk 24 jam dalam cage kecil ( berak , kencing tak da litter tray.. berak pastue duduk atas tahi sbb tempat takda...)

I da out of my capacity.. Nak beli pun da tak da tempat.. I dah full.. I merayu sapa2 yang ada capacity.. tolonglah kucing2 nieh.. they're not that healthy tapi boleh direpair..

kalau sapa2 yang sanggup nak beli , I boleh offer help advise to get them to be healthy.. Ikut hati nak g beli and nak healthy kan diorang balik..tapi I can't, I got family issue and bla bla bla.... I can't get them off my mind.. REally .. Pleaseee somebody...

I appreciate your concern for the kitties and I understand how you feel. I've felt the same way before when I saw kitties in pet shops.

However, if these two kitties are sold quickly, the pet shop is going to bring in even more kitties. It's the natural business sense - if there's demand, bring in more supply. How many kitties could anyone 'save' by buying from this pet shop owner? The more kitties that are being 'saved', the more he's going to bring in.

since dh hbis stdy, punye lme xg sne xth pun de petshop.. klau x tetiap hr kat stu g mkn.. i igt nk g tgk, tp tkut pas tgk xsmpi hti lak, huhu klau dh bli, nur th x brpe agk2 cost utk ok kn dorg lik?

Yeap, I do understand that.. But then, the pet shop is really WRONG. How can they allowed that.. If in my definition, it's called cruelty as placing the cats and dogs in that kinda environment.

Bellarin > Last time I was there, saw only black and white, teh black one ..I think da dijual kot.. Kalau nak repair tueh, tak mahal, cuma ambik masa sikit ja..and attention.

I truly understand how you feel Nurkasih..... and Blackie is right. Once the kittens are sold new ones will be brought in again.

Last time, I went to Jalan Pasar there was a pet shop selling kittens too and you know where they put the little kitten? Inside a glass aquarium {ohmygod}. The aquarium has a covered top with a small opening for putting food. How can you put a cat inside an aquarium meant for fish? {scared}

Then there was a side walk warung that sells fishes and birds. There was a small round ratten cage stuff packed with little joeys {scared} {ohmygod} They were practically sitting on top of each other. No place to move. Then there were cats inside small rusty cages stack on top of each other! Even worse! I felt like crying when I saw these poor animals {cry}{cry} Their sad lives in small compact areas. No place to run and move about. All they do is lie down.

If I had money and lots of it, definitely I would have bought all those poor animals and set them free.... but I felt so helpless....... {cry}{cry}{cry}

I recently saw kittens about 4 or 5 months old being placed in a space for hamsters at a pet shop in Tesco Selayang. The poor kittens could not stand up straight, after trying to stand & stretch without success, they gave up and just lie down. These are what I call unethical pet shops....they don't care about the well-being of the pets in their care.

I know what you mean Blackie.... isn't there any way that we can make a report to any authorities about these people treating the poor animals? {oh} Would SPCA help? {oh}

Hye all.. Although I hope that there will be no continuation to this thread, but there are..

As for today..i was at Prangin Mall again. Tho I tried very much to avoid the petshop, but my bf urgently needed the washroom next to it..and I was there..looking at those pets in the so called not-supposed-to-be-there petshop.. Interestingly, these happened..I will put it in a dialogue style of writing as to put in my exact words..

looking at a Siamese cat in small cage , no water, no food, restless from the loud noises from the gaming area.. I saw additional pets now, there's 3 rabbits and few hamsters.. and errrkk... there's one 'penyembur wangian' ( I cannot think of what it is in English now)pointing direct to the cat and underneath rabbits cage..{ohmygod}

I saw the shop assistant , so I tried to talk to her:

me : Letaklah air, dia nak air ( because the cat been meowing)
x : saya sudah bagi
me : untuk semua binatang , u kena letak air.. sbb macam u , dia perlukan air setiap masa..
x: i ikut bos i, bos i ada bagi time
me: okay it's up to you

then she started to open up the cage..and at that point, the cat went to a corner and lowered his head..he's scared..

x: ini jahat..jahat ( sambil jentik telinga, and hit the front legs of the cat)

the siamese cat was struggling like hell to get away..and violently too.. and she's doing it IN FRONT OF ME AND MANY OTHERS!!!! and yerp, my bf was already beside me and witnessing..

me : male or female?
x : male.
me: okey..so sorry I nak cakap..dia tak suka dengan you.. he doesnt like you AT ALL ( a bit higher in pitch because she kept on hitting)
x: dia memang macam nie.. kena pukul kalau tak dia jahat ( sambil pukul2 lagi that cat)...
me: hey, you don't need to do that. Jangan buat macam tue!
x : boss i pun buat macam nie..kucing jahat.. you kena buat macam nie..
me : I ada banyak kucing dekat rumah.. and i tahu apa yang u buat ini tak betul.. Kucing tu tak suka dengan u..u nampak tak dia takut dengan you.. ( more stern voice because I was already pissed off because she continue hitting the cat)
x : INI BOS SAYA SELALU BUAT MACAMNIE JUGA..( her eyes looked like wanna popped out already, maybe pissed off with me also)
me : ok.. kalau you cakap macam tue.. thank you very much.. ( I reply the staring of eyes)

And I walked away and I knew she was still staring at me.. My bf comment was that 'the girl clearly has psychological problem. Maybe she was hit before, and take it on the cat..The cat look like been hit worst before, he is scared like hell and clawing to find a way out"..

Looks like it's been worse than before, the cat was tortured in front of me, no food ( as he mewing, looks like hungry) and no water, and lowered his head when the girl opened the cage.. the cat has psychological scar already..

As for the other forumers, I am writing a letter to SPCA as the time you are reading this, give me suggestion on who am I supposed to CC ( salinan kepada) as I want them to act!!! This is CRUELTY..{ohmygod}
