Spaying preggy cat?
 

Hi Semua..

Selamatkah kalau kita sunatkan (spay) kucing betina yang tengah mengandung? Boleh ataw tidak sebenarnya ek?

Ada sekor stray dekat blok saya ni..Nama diberi semasa jumpa kali pertama 1tahun setengah lepas adalah Dila..kini, Dila kembali lagi dengan perut yang berisi..Sadis tengok dia tu..

I agree, this certainly illustrates the danger of spaying a pregnant cat. {cry2}

The article also stresses the importance of spaying our female cats BEFORE they become pregnant. Let's hope PF members read the article and take away that message! :-)

Yes..hope PF member or anyone reading the article will get the message the importance of spaying/neutering their lovely cats..

btw, i think Dila is in her mid-late term of her preggy..so, the article really make me scared..thinking of the possibilities might happen to her...

really love her even she is not my very own cat..{kiss}

Haha i was on this site religiously when my cat was pregnant. It has almost everything bout cats. And what we should know bout them.

I worked at a vet clinic before and have seen a pregnant cat being spayed. The owner didn't have enough money to spay her earlier. He really loves his cats but didn't want to have more kittens to take care of so he had to have her spayed. Luckily the cat was still in the early stages.
I don't like it, but sometimes it may be better to just abort the kittens instead of ending up with an unwanted litter.

masalah dengan kucing stray nie, kita dok tunggu dia beranak, dah beranak, nak kena tunggu anak abih susu dan nak pastikan anak dia boleh cari makan sendiri kalau emak dia tak ada sebab masuk wad kena mandulkan, tau, tau emak dia dah mengandung semula..{ohmygod}{ohmygod}.
