Help Needed
 

Hiya,

There is a stray dog in front of my house (SS14, Subang Jaya) whose leg is broken. I'm trying to catch it and send to the vet, but no luck so far, cause he keeps evading me.

I really appreciate any help/ advice. Many people don't want to help. I went to three vets for help, and they're more interested in finishing work on time. I called PAWS but they are totally uncooperative.

Hi there i really hope these isn't late for reply,just joined and just saw your message,Try to give him some food,make him feel at ease.When you feed him ,call him get his attention and show the food leave it.go far away from him its their instinct cause they are scared that you might hurt them.just look at him from distance and try to do it everyday until he feels comfortable and get use to it slowly for sure he will come to you.Dogs are smart if you show them love,they will love you more.i hope and pray that both of you will become buddies.Thanks for your concern and having a heart for these precious animals.

Thanks for your post.

Latest update: The day after I posted the thread, Dr Vijay and Dr Khor helped capture the dog. Dr V operated on the fractured hind leg and inserted pins. Hero (my name for the dog) is currently recuperating at Healing Rooms (almost 1.5 months dy). By mid Dec, the pins will be removed and he should be running around happily.

The whole thing will prolly cost me more than RM2k, but it's for a good cause, so that one dog can have a happier life :)
