Feeling a bit blue
I'm feeling a bit blue because AdSense sent me an email saying my account has been disabled. The reason?
Quote: While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account. End of Quote. I don't understand what they mean by "pose a significant risk..." What have I done wrong? I didn't click on my own ads, nor did I ask anyone to click on the ads. I've written to them, but no reply.......... They disabled my account and took back the money I earned through AdSense.....USD81.79. {cry}{cry}{cry}{cry}{cry} |
Re: Feeling a bit blue
Oh no! What does that mean? Were they advertising on your blog? Ask them why they're being such jackasses. Can they suspend your account just like that? With such a vague explanation?

My hubby says Google is coming to Cyberjaya next month to meet up with them, so maybe I'll see if I can persuade my hubby to talk to them about something that's not on their meeting agenda. Quote:
Google AdSense is an account that any website owner or blogger can apply for. Google will then post ads that are relevant to the content of your website or blog. When someone who visits your website or blog clicks on the ad, x amount is credited into your account. (The old kampung has a lot of them in their website.) They have a rule where you must not click on your own ads, draw attention to them, or ask someone to click on them. I worried about accidentally clicking on my own ads, so I know for a fact that I didn't do it because I made sure my mouse stays clear off them. And I certainly didn't ask anyone to click on those ads.....all of you who know me, you know I never asked any of you to click. Although I did notice one thing which has been developing in my blog. I've been having a number of repeat unknown visitors whose locations are not familiar to me, e.g., Portugal, Nertherlands, California and Hong Kong. They have been visiting my blog at least once a day, every day, and they spent like 30 minutes to an hour there, just going through every single page on my blog. I can't stop them from clicking......after all, that's what the ads are there for, for people to read, right? So it seems weird to me to say "pose a risk" to their advertisers. |
