Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this as I haven't actually been able to secure the dog I spotted wandering around Putra Bahagia. I'm not a rescuer so... zero experience approaching shy, wary dogs much less securing/catching one. For now, the dog is still on the street.

Neither the residents on that particular street nor I have seen this dog in the neighbourhood before. One resident I spoke to said the dog only showed up about a couple of days ago and has not wandered far from that street since. I suspect the dog could be a pet that's gotten lost. The dog seems quite clean and her/his coat seems healthy though scruffy and slightly matted. Not sure what else to do except create a profile on Petfinder under Lost & Found and share pics through other channels. Have attached pictures with this post in case anyone recognizes the poor dog. If any rescuers or fosterers are reading this and are able to help, please call or PM. Hope the dog doesn't get spooked by the fireworks tonight and runs off somewhere else.

ETA: Unfortunately, the dog is no longer at the location today. Timid dog like that probably freaked out when the fireworks went off. Sigh.
