i'm not sure whether cats are proud but i'll share with you a quote my vet told me

"Dogs have friends but cats have servants"..

that was after i mentioned to her that they seemed to be dictating and ordering me to do a lot of things for me -although their orders came in the form of a beguiling look, friendly rub of their heads/tails and stone-melting meows.

one thing i learn though - cats are not lone or solitary animal -they're quite social and they like to interact just like our dogs.

however a cat has a different personality and if you have a mutiple-cat household, the pecking order of each cat in its hierachy also determines its "vocalness". at least as for as i can observe.

regardless whether they're proud or not, cats are in fact very fastidious animals and clean, like routine and schedule (right on the dot, really not a second sooner or later and they're highly intelligent animals).

however this not to say that they can't be trained, in fact, they can be trained but it must be done subtly and it's always a fine race between their determined and agile minds and our own human intelligence.
