Nik, kalau penyakit adalah mange (scabies in humans) ubat titik tak akan solve the problem, but if it is only mites in ear, Ivermectin for mange will also take care of it.
Tambahan pula, saya baca that a lot of the ubat titis menitis we have available especially yg over the counter from pet shops dah tak mujarab lagi because kebanyakan mites sudah develop resistance to those common drugs available.
For such conditions, it is strongly advisable to see a vet instead of consulting at a forum sebab a good physical examination is need and the contents of the ear needs to be examined carefully under a microscope to determine the presence of ear mites. Terdapat keadaan dimana kucing stray saya ada debris kat telinga tapi tak jumpa ear mites ... rupanya ada ear infection akibat kecederaan dari pergaduhan lama.
Tapi penyakit mange boleh dirasa dengan tangan, telinganya rasa ada benda kasar ... tapi kadang-kadang kekasaran tersebut boleh disebabkan gatal terkena benda gatal ... vet boleh buat swap dan analisis di bawah microscope.
