Choosing a pedigree to a domestic is not wrong; it’s only a matter of personal choice & luxury. It’s just like the guy who chooses a Ferrari to a Proton both car will take you to the same place but why pay more. You see it’s a matter of personal choice & affordable luxury & I don’t think anyone should comment on his choice of spending. As long as you can afford it & its maintenance, why not, it’s your money after all.

Off coz getting a pedigree will cost you & sometime a lot more, as for domestic you can always adopt for free or maybe for a minimum adoption fee. If you think that getting a pedigree is expensive & costly I wud advise you to think again about getting one becoz maintaining it is going to cost you much more. The price for the cat is a 1 time thing as compare to the cost of maintaining the cat which is on going for as long as the cat lived. So! You see it is a luxury. Certain pedigree likes the Persian or the hairless Sphynx for example is much higher maintenance then you think. It required regular grooming & there is no easy way out unless you pay someone to do it for you all the time.

My advice is that you do your research on the breed you want before you get your cat so that you know what you are getting in. The cat you see in the show hall is always gorgeous & lovely, but remember it is not so for no effort put in.
