Does the dog have a license tag? If so, you can look up the number with MBPJ to find the owner's address.
You can also take some photos of it and make it into a simple flyer and post it at your nearby pet shops. The owner might also happen to go to those pet shops to post a Lost Dog ad and see your flyer, or his neighbours that are aware of the lost dog.
