Chitam, tak payah inject ... kasi makan is better (mcm manusia juga, oral is always better than injection, less stress and shock to the system). Dr Netto the very senior and experienced vet dekat Klinik Veterinar Kerajaan PJ pun prefer kasi oral (and cheaper also - dulu Karipapp I only paid beberapa henggit sahaja (kalo tak silap tak sampai RM10 pun utk the whole treatment - vet kata kalo injection RM15 setiap kali - mahal and stressful).
Si Karipapp dulu vet kasi siap-siap ubat dalam 3 syringe kecil utk saya kasi Karipapp makan every week. Saya campurkan (mashed) dlm secubit daging dada ayam early in the morning sebelum kasi kibbles utk 1st meal of the day (jadi dia sungguh lapar dan akan habiskan all the chicken containing the dosage of ivermectin).
Because of ivermectin's toxicity to cats, the dosage is very carefully measured out and at a much lower dosage compared to dogs or humans.
