One piece of good news came from it: At least the Parliament is tabling tougher animal welfare legislation next year: fine up to RM100,000, and up to 6 month prison term.
Me? I'd like it to be tougher still, but this is certainly an improvement over what we've got now. Please, please, please: Everyone who cares about animals, contact your elected representatives and express your support for this new bill!
