During a chat with my vet he did mention to me that the saliva of the cats are the ones or the real culprit that trigger asthma. So I guess he was saying the same thing that you mentioned. He added that there is only one breed of cat that has less side effect to asthmatic people. Short haired. Unfortunately I forgot the the name of the breed. The pix of the cat was amongst the many breeds available shown in a cat's poster at the vet's clinic. Anybody know about this?
