Get together with the rest of animal rescuer / individual, place food away from the human. They can smell from far... there is a lot of Vietnamese over there who happens to kill most of the dogs for consume. You don't want me to tell you how they did it!
But I've once saw and stopped them, but too late for the poor dog, he was dead; head smashed opened...
