what kind of "transparent skin"? it is a skin? or a slimy thing hanging on the terrapin?

my guess, if it is a skin, it is shading. like snakes, terrapins shade too. if it is a slimy thing, it is a skin as well, just that they got soaked in the water for too long, so became slimy.

the shell shades too. pieces of hard shell will come off one by one when it is time to shade

no skin disease. no worries.
