hi everyone,
i don't know anything about eye infections in cats but i can tell you that if that poor little kitten's eye needs to be removed, the kitten will be fine. they can compensate for the loss of the eye very easily and adapt well to the change. my friend also rescued and adopted a tiny kitten with a terrible eye infection and it got to the point that one day she saw the kitten playing with something in front of its own face and when my friend went closer she saw that the kitten's eye was dangling out of the socket and the kitten was playing with it.. she was horrified.. so anyway the vet said no choice must remove the whole eye and they did and now she's fine!!
