Hi Dayana,

There is no vaccine for rabbits in Malaysia. The 2 most common vaccines are for VHD and Myxomatosis. It seems that these diseases are not a problem in Malaysia, hence no need to vaccinate.

As for the female being on top of the male... rabbits hump for 2 reasons. First, to mate. Second, to establish dominance. So if you see your doe humping your male, she is trying to establish that she is the boss.

As for her bald forehead, sometimes rabbits overgroom each other, resulting in fur loss. As long as the area is not bleeding or infected in any way, its fine. But if you want to prevent overgrooming, separate them.

As for the issue of breeding, pls read the sticky post entitled 'Breeding' http://forums.petfinder.my/showthread.php?t=950 . How old are your rabbits? Rabbits are fertile from as early as 3 months old. Females should not be bred until they are at least 6 months. Breeding females too early is like getting a 12 year old girl pregnant. Can be done, but of course, dangerous to the female's life.

Rabbits ovulate when they mate. Gestation period is about 30 days. Females can get pregnant again as soon as they have delivered (because again, the ovulate each time they mate). So in 1 year, your rabbit can get pregnant 12 times! Please read more about breeding rabbits before proceeding, and please separate them for now if you do not want your doe to become a baby factory.

There are lots of rabbits abandoned all the time. Consider rescuing one if you want more rabbits :)
