is it normal if vet just treat ur cat but not keeping it clean???

my lil mimiey was recently admitted due to virus infection..the virus was very dangerous that it can be passed on thru a single touch so the vet isolated my lil mimiey n treated her thru several iv drips.she's been admitted for 4 days and today she got discharged..

when i took her home, i realized that her condition is so much worst! her front leg (the one with iv drips marks) was swollen n bleeding n look kinda blueish..her ears got earmites(altho we've already sent her for flea n earmites treatment a week before) n were bleeding too from all the scratches..her bottom is unbelievably dirty! the poo is everywhere and all furs around that area is hard bcoz of all the dried poo..i have to wash her bottom even my vet told not to bathe her 4 two weeks..

so since this is my 1st ever experience wif sick kittens, is this how vet treat our pets? just treat n not keeping or bother their hygiene's? or only my vet that did this? i'm so angry and hurt right now coz not only my lil mimiey is not fully recovered but she suffers a bad leg, ear infection n several bloody wound? it's so heartbreaking watching her like this

Yes, its normal. That is why I try not let my cats stay too long at the vet.
All vets are short of helpers, thus animals cleanliness is not the top priority.

God if i knew this! thanks to the vet my mimiey died just now..

what about others? have u got the same experience? or are there any nice vets out there

i'm very sorry for your loss. not sure about others, but from my past experience with upm and baby pets in equine park, they did a good job.

thanks..i'm really frustrated with the vet..i'm sure there's other vet that ensure our pets health and cleanliness..if money is the issue then i'm definitely paying more as long as my pet is healthy and clean..i mean its private vet for God's sake..shouldnt there be more than just shoving the drips in my poor mimiey's leg and neglecting other stuff?
