This is exactly the sort of diet that Dr. Susanna Brida-Hofherr, who is a holistic vet and acupuncturist in KL, recommends for cats. On her advice, I've also switched over to a wet diet. My cats have stubbornly refused to eat anything with chicken in it, whether canned or home-cooked. Dr. S tells me to trust them -- they must know that chicken is not the best thing for them. They've been eating home-cooked beef, but not very happily. This article gave me the idea to put just a small pinch of salt into it. It worked! Two empty bowls.
It was good to read an article that so strongly supports this kind of diet, and these little tips about making the transition easier are really fantastic. Thank you again! :-)
