Sylvester, a.k.a Debab, My Sweetheart

hi there...i myself was shocked till today that he died.. come to think of it..i actually couldnt really accept the news.. but i guess life has to move on..n me, well..i talk about him all the time..most days i'll be crying, thinking, remembering about him....

it was 3 days before raya.. i left him at klang with my boyfren for hari raya.. it was like the 2nd week he was there.... we both know he will be one happy cat to stay in klang..he juz love it there n not wanting to follow me back...he would juz stay home n play with the other cats.. somehow dat early morning..everything changed.. he went roaming to the other side of the taman..n he got chased by dogs...he managed to escape the dogs but was not lucky enuff to escape the car that was speeding down the road at 3-4am...kawasan perumahan some more...

the guy did not have the decency to stop.... when he realized he hit a cat...he took off....n left sly to die. our neighbour heard the accident n rushed out to see... they were a group of mechanics, always fixing motorbikes... there's this one habit that sly loves to do when he's there.. he will go to our neighbours place n watch them fix the bikes... he sit there for hours... eheehhe the guy knows him n love to carry him n put on top of the bike...showing him what they are doing n talking to him... thats why they recognized him...

the next day they came n told us the news...they said the rang the door bell the day before but no one woke up...at that time i was showering.. my bf n his dad saw sly...my bf nearly fainted, he collapsed.... he rushed upstairs to tell me but he couldnt even tell me the news...then his dad told me, filin, your cat emot died... i felt weird..i said, no..she's here with me accompanying me.. see... she's here... then his dad said..no the other one the black n white one...

i ran downstairs...n it was true..i saw sly on the ground....i myself collapsed upon seeing him... it was a shock for me...i juz cuddled him n held him in my arms yesterday n now he's gone.... i cried till my head hurt...n my eyes swollen.. he was lying there so stiff n ants crawling all over him... i wiped away the ants n held him, crying...

my bf came down n we started digging a grave in front of his house....until he hurt his hand....his dad helped him...i sat down on the grass n held sly... we had to dig this long n deep grave in order to fit him....then when the time came.. i wrapped him in my favourite towel, n hugged him one last time...n laid him to rest...my bf's dad asked me to push the sand into the grave but i couldnt do it... i was too sad....when everything was done...we wrote "Debab : 27.09.08.....

everyday i would visit the grave..talk to him..put flowers n pandan leaves on top...

till this day, i still remember him, love him always..n will always cry when i see his pictures..hear his bell...talk about him....

i still remember 2-3 days before his death...he accompanied me baking raya cookies..he will stay awake n will only go to sleep when he sees me sleeping... for me, he is a very manja n handsome boy....i definitely will miss him alot....

Debab, mummy harap debab happy disana, yer sayang...mummy tau debab mmg suka duduk kat klang kan...skrg debab akan ada kat klang sampai biler2.....anak2 debab sekarang da pandai nakal2...perangai, rupa sumer ada yang macam debab....kalau nak tau, kais (my bf's cat which is his gf) masih lagi tercari2 debab... dia terasa kehilangan debab....

debab sayang, jangan nakal2....mummy n daddy x kan lupa debab sampai biler2... u will always be our sweetheart......

harap kak filin stay strong too..
tak tahu debab dah ada waris..bagus la gitu..
harap gf debab stay strong too..
zee pernah jmp sly debab ni, ingat balik memang tertarik dengan dia, very laidback cat..
and after jumpa debab je..few weeks after that i found my blacky tux,ntahla, rasa macam terkenang je walaupun tak kenal debab...

eheheh.. xper cik mondoks... dia x marah...

ingat lagi dulu2... selalu kalo kiter angkat pelok cium dia depan orang..x kisah sesaper la... mesti dia marah... mesti dia growl kat akak....

tapiii... kalo xder orang..bukan main manja lagik.. siap tidor2... ehhehe... manja betol... malu lak tuh nak tunjuk kat orang dia manja cengitu...

dia mmg cengitu.. malu betol...eheh.. nak nak kalo depan awek dia si Kais... eheh.. marah betol... cepat2 mintak turun.. tunjuk macho kat Kais...

masa minggu duduk umah edir..dia ngorat si Kais sampai bunting.. ada lagik 2 ekor waris kat sana... nama horlicks n tiger.. lawa belang diorang... kaler sekor itam puteh cam tiger.. sekor lagi tuh mmg kaler horlicks.. nnt la kiter upload pics diorang... ke mana jer Kais pergi mesti dia teman... sampaikan biler Kais netek kan anak dia dalam cupboard, debab tgu dia kat luar cupboard,,,mata ngadap cupboard tuh..x berani nak lelap pon... eheheh

ari2 mintak makan ngan akak atau edir.. ingat dia nak makan.. rupa2 biler kitorang spy dia, dia offer Kais makan.. tapi dia x usik pon..Kais dah abis makan baru dia makan... ehehe....

Waris pertama dia ngan emot ada kat umah.. 4 ekor... si Sylvester Jr, Junior, Hugo Boss ngan Mink.... Kalo x silap 3 jantan, 1 betina... betina tuh si Mink... kaler itam marble2.. eheh.. ada belang emot... yang lain ikot debab cumer bukan tuxie... itam putih... si hugo jer kaler dedua...mak bapak diaa...
itam, putih, belang2 coklat...

hugo la yang paling manja ngan akak...nak dok kat akak jer..sampai terlelap2... eheheh ngader tol yang sekor nih... dia suka bercakap dengan akak... akak pon layan jer la... karang dapat lik kamera akak snap gambor terbaru diorang...

Just got around to read your post. My condolences.

Part of your above post reminds me of my late Siamese cat, Mew-Mew. I remember it was exam season, Mew2 would accompany me while I "burn the midnight oil".... Mew2 died in an accident too... I skipped school to bury his remains, I can imagine how you felt.

Filin, be strong, the memories will leave on forever.

Just got around to read your post. My condolences.

i just came across your thread ..I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm really sorry. I can't even begin to imagine your sorrow...i'm so sorry.

please know that although debab loved his mommy and had a happy time with mommy, he is also finally free from all suffering and can be truly happy and safe at the kitty heaven across the rainbow bridge.

my condolences. please look on your other cats,they may also be grieving. give them your attention, your love and your assurance. help them to cope also.

thanks ashley... i'm sure he's real happy now that he can stay forever in klang... its been a week plus since i last went to klang.. going there this weekend to visit him n put flowers on his grave...

Sometimes things happened so suddenly that you can't believe he's gone. One moment he's here and one moment he's gone like that.....sign........do take care of yourself & your other cats.

Meleleh air mata Pakcu baca citer Filin tu. Tersentuh sangat.. Apa2 pun semua tu di tangan Tuhan. Ingat laa.. Debab dah tentu masuk syurga dan debab pun mesti berterimakasih banyak2 kat mommy and papa dia sebab dah jaga dia sebaik mungkin. Filin be strong k. Pakcu rasa, Allah akan balas jasabaik Filin terhadap Debab dan akan cuba mengembirakan Filin yang tengah bersedih tu. Salah satunyer, mungkin tu la sebab Filin menang 1st Prize lucky draw tu.. Allah tu Maha Pemurah dan Maha Penyayang..
Filin banyak2 sabar k and jaga la waris jari hantu Debab baik-baik k.. hehe.
