Dog fart!
Last night spike and i were hanging out in the garden and enjoying the cool night air together. He was curled up on the ground with one of his favorite smoked beefhide bones clutched between his front paws. A pleasant atmosphere surrounded us. Spike chewed contentedly on his bone and i sat next to him rubbing his tummy. Suddenly a deep rumbling and obnoxious sound pierced the silence.. PFFFT PRRROOOTTTOT!!! Shocked, i looked at spike, he looked at me. Then amazed he had to find the source of the sound. Did it come from his bum? Confused, he cocked an ear and tried to sniff his own butt. But he couldn't reach it coz he was still lying on the floor. I laughed at him. Insulted, he quickly scrambled to his feet and again strained his neck desperately trying to reach his bum with his nose. All he succeeded in doing was walking round and round in a circle chasing his own bum. That's my spike. What a lovable cutie.

Re: Dog fart!
i bet it's just a cover up of the humilation of farting so he'd act cute...
just kidding..
but by his action so innocent...
well guess dogs also have their own curiosity...
neway there was one time i was sitting and watching the tv..
suddenly my Blacky tux came to me and sit on my lap..
not a while after that....'poooottttt'..
not that loud but the smell was there.....
and after doing his business on my lap he got up and just walk away....
such a clever cat, putting the blame on me....
well there's touch and go, guess this is fart n go....

Re: Dog fart!
Luckily we were outside so the smell cleared quite fast. I think he decided that he was too classy to be gassy coz shortly after inspecting his own bum, he put his head in my lap. Was he being affectionate or putting the blame on me? Hmmm.. Oh one more thing, I've learned that cats shouldn't eat eggs. When ninja fatty was a kitten he was obsessed with scrambled and hardboiled eggs. So i let him try once. Bad idea. He farted the whole day. Extremely smelly farts. Worse than any other fart i have had the displeasure of smelling. I was amazed that such a strong powerful smell could come from such a tiny creature.

I think he was surprised by the sound! Maybe usually there's no sound effect Hahaha! And yes you're right pets do bring joy to our lives. I think my little monsters make me laugh everyday.

Re: Dog fart!
Yes, dogs like humans too fart. I have a chow chow who not only farts but burps. At first i couldn't believe it but after that obnoxious smell, phew.. Dogs really do fart and burps.. But they do it much less than humans, mind you..
My chow also snorts like pig when she is seeking for attention or upset.. It's kinda cute though.. I think that's how animal seek our attention.

Haha my doggie also snoorts when he's excited. And he snores when he sleeps. Guess he's overweight or something.
I do love it when doggie or kittie do something funny.

Re: Dog fart!
Snoring with larger breed of dogs are pretty normal but if you have toy dogs that snores then they are definately overweight. Ask your vet to recommend a suitable diet if your dog is overweight.
Yes, i too love the funny stuff that dogs do... It really cheers me up after a tiring day at work.

Re: Dog fart!
Haha...yeah..its hilarious when these fellas do things like this.
My big boy Caesar farts as often as he burps. Whats even funnier is when my monkey Chico does the same.
Ahhh...what would we do without these young uns in our lives? :)
