Orijen Cat Food
I recently adopted a 2 month old kitten and it was quite sickly and malnourished and refused to eat. Later she developed gastrointestinal problems and had water in her lungs. Gave her medication and forced feed her AD Diet for a week. Now that she is better, she refuses to eat any cat food -- except for Orijen. Anyone knows where I can buy Orijen below market price?

Re: Orijen Cat Food
Hi,
Im giving my cat Orijen because is one of the most biologically appropriate kibbles for cat as it contain 80% meat, plus I love the way the company treated and process the animal that they use to make the the kibbles. Everyday i feed him twice, he will have one bowl of dry food ( 2 table spoon ), one bowl of wet food and water.
For better result i think u have to give your cat canned food daily to keep the cat hydrated because cat in general doesnt really drink a lot, they suppose to get the water intake from the food / their prey which is their biological food. But when we change their diet to kibbles I guess they need more water intake because kibbles doesnt really provide them enough water.
So my advice, change your cat diet to canned food dont feed your cat too much kibbles.

Re: Orijen Cat Food
I wish my cat would eat Orijen since it's highly rated. She hates it. If I mixed it in her food, she won't touch the whole thing.
Honestly, Orijen smells like Marmite...which is quite stinky. I tried feeding it to a stray too. Even the stray won't eat it
Oh well...looks like I'm stuck with Blackwood

Re: Orijen Cat Food
whats the market price eh? i know a couple of people selling orijen via FB n their price are quite ok. I love Orijen, it makes my cats fur incredibly shiny and less shedding but the poo, OMG, I might die if i left the litter box for 6 hours without cleaning!! The only kibbles that made my babies poos less stink is IAMS but their fur shed like crazy!!

Re: Orijen Cat Food
Don't feed IAMS. You can check out IAMS cruelty if you want.
