Hi, MHK.oyen --
No, after spaying your cat will no longer come on heat. No more crazy yowling, and best of all, no more risk of uterine cancers! It's a great idea.

No, I think that's a myth that's been circulating for a long time. I have two spayed females, and both a very trim and fit. If you feed a good, high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet, your kitty should keep her super-model figure.

Re: Neutered Cat
True enough my females are trim and fit and such divas! But my males do get a bit bigger. One of my male strays got so big, it has become a conversation piece whenever anyone drops by the house. Feed them with good food like Maneki Neko says and their fur will become more fluffier and adds to the illusion of being big.

Re: Neutered Cat
Well I feed them 4 times a day in small portions. The total amount should more or less follow the amount recommended by the food manufacturer. I feed them a mix of kibbles, wetfood and sometimes when extra rajin home cooked meals.
