Sure, pets can make our lives much brighter, but we do need to consider whether we are making
their lives happy ones. Adopting a high-energy dog and keeping it tightly chained or caged is a bad choice. Buying a long-haired cat when you have no time for grooming is another wrong decision.
What's more, choosing the wrong pet for your lifestyle and circumstances will most likely make
you miserable.
I just ran across a web site that is designed to help people find the types of pets that are right for them, based upon reviews by those who have lived with that breed of cat or dog (including mixed breeds, of course!), and they also cover other species -- reptiles, birds, fish, small exotic, horses and more.
If you are thinking of adopting or buying a pet, I encourage you to have a look at this site. You may think that you want a reticulated python but decide after gaining some more information that a ball python is more your speed.
The site is called Right Pet (

Happy surfing and learning!
