Default My kitten doesn't seem to be growing

I adopted a domestic short hair kitten, Lola, in May. She was two-month-old then and was malnourished and with an assortment of health and skin problems. She is now five-month-old and is very healthy. Recently I adopted another five-month-old kitten, Katja, a Russian Blue mix.

The thing that puzzles me is that Lola eats much more than Katja does. Yet, compared to Katja, Lola's size is much smaller and she is very bony. Her growth seems to be very slow. Is this normal? I don't think she has worms as she is de-wormed every month by my vet.

I didn't know what Russian Blue so I googled for some pics. The breed seemed to have very lean bodies. Could it be genetics? Maybe the breed is just slim?

I wouldn't worry as long as she's healthy, active, eating and pooping.

My kitty is a year old and isn't very big either. She weighs about 3.5kg..dunno if it's normal for her age.

LOL! Yeah... the breed that was supposed to be lean is actually bigger than my DSH. But phew! Thanks Meffy! That's very reassuring to know that being in "smallville" does't make my kitten abnormal... Yes, she is healthy, very active and eating very well and pooping A LOT!
