I'm curious because I spayed my kitten when she was 6 months old, in February. She's about a year old now.
Every now and then, her 'boyfriends' would come by to say 'hello' outside our door. She's a fully-indoor apartment cat so she never goes outside. But I can hear the toms calling her from outside. My cat would run to the door when she hears them calling and will try to peek from the gap below. Sometimes I open the door to see which 'boyfriend' came by. My cat would just stare at the tom curiously while he purrs away trying to come inside.
So do spayed females still attract the boys? Why? I thought they no longer produce those hormones.
