Default thinking to adopt another cat

recently 1 month ago, i adopted one male cat. I think about 4 month old now, since me and my wife go to work on the days, sometimes i can see that my cat is tend to be lonely. so im thinking to adopt another female cat.

so my questions is.. how do i make sure my current cat will get along with the-soon-going-to-adopt-new-cat, and what are the most known problems if i adopt another at my home

Hi, Adliaaddin,

This article may help you introduce a second cat into your home with minimal stress for everyone involved:

You mentioned that your current cat is male, and you're thinking of adopting a female. I would encourage you to be sure one or both are neutered when they reach maturity, as one queen can bear 4 litters or more per year -- you may find yourself overrun with kittens. :-) Good luck!
