Emergency Vet around Taman Johor Jaya
Hi all.
I have a cat and i'm currently located at Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru.
Just in case my cat needs emergency veterinarian attention, does anyone know any such emergency service provided from 5pm to 6am daily? I know one veterinarian clinic named Wondercare Veterinary Clinic located at Ros Merah area, but it only operates 10am~5pm daily.
So, i hope someone will shed some light on this. It does not necessarily have to be around Taman Johor Jaya, it just has to be within Johor Bahru vicinity.
Thanks a huge bunch in advance.

Hi Jasmon,
You may refer to Pet Veterinary Centre at No. 96 Jln Permas 10, Bandar Baru Permas Johor. Tel: 07-3868951. It operates 9am-9pm and close on Friday.

Hi Jasmon,
As for Wondercare Vet @ Ros Merah, they do attend emergency case after 5pm. Once I did help my friend to send her cat which had been knocked by a car at around 8pm. All we did was give a call to numbers display at digital screen. Although we had to wait for some time but yes they did attend and give treatment.

By the way, how effective were they in treating the accident case? Did your friend's cat manage to survive?

Sadly my friend's cat died the next day due to severe injury at the cat's head. When the vet arrived he did say the cat condition was so severe. Since my friend insist the vet to do as best as he could and he continue his job what is necessary ( Dressing, jabs etc)

Re: Emergency Vet around Taman Johor Jaya
Just wondering, are general vets really skilled enough to handle serious injuries that require emergency surgeries? Just asking out of curiosity...Been wondering this in my head for quite a long time :)

Personally cannot vouch for his cat treatment skill but called Dr Edwin once for an emergency house call passed midnight for my dog's diarrhoea bout with blood.
The moment he walks in, he has already gotten my dog breed wrongly. A Dogue de Bordeaux and Pitbull is a whole world of difference! My real pitbull is at the other corner, caged. And he thought that one is a mongrel!
He was reluctant to let me know what jab was administered to my sick dog. Sure enough, his visit and treatment doesn't work. By 10:00H, my dog is down and diarrhoea hasn't ceased.
I can now called my usual vet for the housecall. After administering proper jab and medication, my dog is able to get up for drinks and food in 3 hours.
I've steered clear of Wondercare since.
