I was just curious and wondering, I have two kittens (well one is a teenager).. Salem, an almost 3 month old and Sherbet, an almost 6 month old male kittens. Lately I find the Sherbet prefer to be a loner, lie down at some corner of the house or sleep. While Salem is very active, like to play around and run around the house.
What I wondered is, does Salem need a companion around his age? Since nowadays Sherbet likes to sleep a lot, sometimes Salem would come to me and mew. From his tone I suspected he's sort of complaining. He would stop mewing if I play with him for awhile but unfortunately, he has more energy than me
. Sometimes Salem would gnaw on his brother's ears to wake Sherbet up, but Sherbet ignores him. So... Salem would come to me and mews loudly..
Is this normal? I wondered if Salem is an attention seeker
..
When does kitten stop sucking on shirts? Salem is an orphaned kitten and he still sucks on shirt, is there a way to stop this?
Young kittens, do they need playmates of same age?
