Dear PAWS Volunteers,

I have yet to receive the photos/profiles from Darren, he must be pretty busy with work as he has yet to reply my email either.

Can each of the volunteers please compile their information individually and email them to me? Please name the photos accordingly and write the profile details within a description document.

For those that do not have my email, please PM me. Thanks!

Dear PAWS Volunteers,

I have created most of the PAWS profiles already from your photos (Darren, Lisa, Alex), nice shots!

The details listed at the profiles are inaccurate right now as they were not captured during the photography session. Hopefully we can verify with PAWS soon on that.

We are currently seeking volunteers photographers for SPCA, as well as a person that can liaise with PAWS to clarify on the profile details of the pets that were earlier photographed.

It'd be best if we can get both tasks completed within this week or two.

I'd like to volunteer to help but I have no such experience other than taking pics of my own dog n hamsters at home. When is the date set for this ? I might be able to bring a fren or two.

Thanks for your kind volunteering. I am awaiting a reply from Alex (Hourus) to confirm the date of visit in March, and will definitely update you asap.

Yes, would be fun to bring along some friends too. Don't worry, just be trigger happy and snap as many pics as you can till your camera battery runs out, surely there'd be some nice ones for each dog/cat

Hi Ai Ney,

Really good to hear from you! It'd be awesome if you can take some pics and have a check on the active list with them. Please take down basic info of the animals you photographed as well - tag ID, name (if any), age, gender, breed.

I've emailed you the updated active list for you - some animals date back to almost a year old, I believe many should already have been adopted.

Our volunteers have made their own checklists.. you can have a look at Page 5, Post #81 by Alex (hourus) and some earlier posts for some tips.

For your convenience, here are the items he suggested:
1. Spare Clothing + Towel
2. Hat / Cap - it gets hot in there
3. Gloves - for those who may have sensitive skin allergies
4. Face mask - for those who got sensitive nose due to allergy / smell
5. Digital Camera

my digicam is lousy but my photographic skills is SUPERB *cough* ;p

i got some goodies to give as well from my impulse purchases. oh ya.. i heard they also need old newspapers.. so maybe we can bring some with us.

andy, can you pull the active list from a database so we can checklist the dawgs and cats.

Ai Ney managed to go to PAWS today, captured some new profiles and updated the checklist - really quick action and good work! You can see the latest pets at the Listings page

Since she has just gone there, I suggest the next trip to be a month from now, in early April. Would you guys be able to photograph the pets at SPCA instead for this month?

How about on the morning of March 14, next Saturday?

im attending my fren's wedding in ipoh on 14th march, andy.....so i will only be free on 22nd's weekend or even 29th's weekend, but if other volunteers want to go ahead then i will go on the next next trip
