Snappy Tom Cat Canned Food

Thank you for sharing your recipe, Maneki Neko. I've been wondering how to cook their food & whatsnot to put into it. How about bones eg. fish bones, can I add in? Cooked & blended? Thanks.

Hi, Shazshera! I don't know the answer to your question.

I know that bones are a great source of calcium, but I also worry that they'll get stuck in my cat's throat, puncture a stomach, etc. I suppose if you cooked the fish bones til soft and then made sure they were ground up in the blender, it might be safe. If I had a good, solid food grinder, I would also feel more confident than I do. I hope some other PF members will speak up on this point.

The only 'bone' I put into the food is the soft white bone-thing from chicken keel. It looks harmless and chewable

snappy tom is a quite old brand in the market..it is under Safcol Australia, can refer to this commercial.and they are quite famous in australia.can rmb my relative that stay in australia they will sang out that snappy tom song.

u can look at youtube for the snappy tom commercial.
and for my information that snappy tom jelly is no made from animal fats. it is not too nutrition is just because it is just a 'maintenance' for cat. to provide the very basis nutrients for our cat.
