Cats Have Nine Primary Emotions
by Jane A Kelley, Cat expert and animal communicator, Paws and Effect
Until the early 21st century, most people believed cats were solitary and relatively emotionless creatures. But in 2002, author and researcher Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson published a revolutionary book, The Nine Emotional Lives of Cats, in which he identified nine primary emotions he had observed in cats: narcissism, love, contentment, attachment, jealousy, fear, anger, curiosity, and playfulness.
Masson's groundbreaking perspective on feline feelings has benefited cats in vet care, animal shelter housing, and domestic life.

I observed these emotions in my 3 cats, too. Depends on which cat, each has a different way to show their emotions.
Did you find all 9 emotions in your cat? How well do you know your kitties?
