Ala.. ubat antibiotik tu xde tulis apa nama ke..brand ke..so tak tau.. tapi memang pilnya besar.. warna putih.. macam pil actal gitu.. dah split 6 part pun rasa besar lagi (leh bezakan sebab susah betul nak masukkan ke dalam mulut Neko-chan berbanding antibiotik yang sebelum ni)..
Hmm... mulut dia berbuih/air liur keluar bila letak aje pil tu dalam mulut dia.. lepas tu dia luah balik.. memang siksa nak paksa dia makan balik (dah la pil tu besar)..  .
Ish.. macam mana nak tau ubat ni palatable ke tak.. 
P/S : Macam mana nak tau kucing betina dah matang? (Dah start in-heat).. adakah dia akan start bunyi2 bila dia dah start gatal? Tengah perhatikan Neko-chan main dgn Sherbet/Salem.. kesian bila difikirkan almost 24-7 Neko ni kena kurung dalam cage

Tepon klinik tanya dan catitikan. Elok kita simpan journal mengenai semua rawatan kucing kita as medical history, sama mcm manusia juga. Boleh simpan satu buku 555 utk setiap ekor kucing ... catit semua medical history di dalam ... setiap penyakit, ubat bila makan, berapa kali sehari makan, bila habis dsbnya, vaksin, neuter, dll ...

yg ini aku tak tahan 
tp betul yan,akak simpan suma kucing punya medical history even strays.bila dah kasih org adopt,akak bg suma medical history tu kat tuan baru.senang juga utk durang nanti klu ada apa2 yg tak kena dgn kucing yg diadopt.

heheheheeee!!! ... dan bunyi tu datang dari dalam pe-ut nyer ... kalau U nengok muker dia ajer, kadang-kadang tak dapat pasti dia yang buat bunyi tu ... tapi kalo tengok kat perut dia, naik turun ... confirm laa dia yg buat bunyi mendalam tu ... it is quite an involuntary action by the cat .... hahahahahah!!!!

Takde tanda2 ni.. dia dok terkam jantan2 ekor tu adala.. Tak pernah dengar dia bunyi2 manja.. atau tunjuk2 montot.. jantan 2 ekor kat rumah ni datang dekat2 nak cium..dia bagi penampar ada la
Kucing betina start heat ikut umur.. atau saiz badan? (atau unpredictable? ) .. Sebab kat rumah ni.. Salem dan Neko belum neuter ..so takut sikit... lebih baik kumpul info dari jadi grandma.. ku x bersedia menimang cucu.... (tak nak pun dpt cucu dr anak2 bulus )

What to do with this stray cat?
Kucing betina blh on heat semuda 3 bulan. ada juga kucing yg on heat bukan mcm si Ina hatemetoday cakap.kucing akak si Oni,akak sikit pun tak tau dia on heat.bawa gi vet,doctor jonathan kata,"aiyoh!! June,she's on heat ler."kwn tu senyap je.cuma suka gesel2 kat kaki akak pastu mengiau2 dan pandang akak.ingatkan dia sakit ke apa klu dia punya berat dah cukup 2kg,ko zass je minah tu.klu tak dpt cucu,hah!!! meraung

2kg yer....... belum lagi kot.. takpe nanti saya timbang dia .. si Neko ni.. dalam cage aje dia ngiao2 manja.. bila bagi lepas..zupp.. berlari2 sana sini.. takdenya nak gesel2 kat kaki sangat(bila dalam bilik kucing aje dia dtg gesel2..nampak sangat ada motif )... Yan panggil2 pun dia x layan..sombong tu
Alhamdulillah.. lepas 2 minggu ni berulang alik gi vet..lepas tu bagi dia makanan yang Kak Zai recommend tu.. poo dia dah firm.. xde cirit birit.. lega sikit (poketku pun lega sikit )... Tapi buat masa ni memang x bagi dia makan lain.. (kadang2 bagi dia tuna treat aje and ayam rebus)..nak biar dia makan green pea and duck formula Natural Balance sampai habis. Biar perut dia betul2 ok.. dan probably saya tunggu ubat antibiotik dia habis baru bawak pergi vet untuk vaccine + deworm

Euanna elok tunggu beberapa minggu atau sebulan sekurang-kurang nya selepas habis antibiotik sebelum hantar vaccine supaya dapat lebih menjamin badan kucing tu betol-betol kuat dan sihat sebab your cat had been pretty sick ... takut dia tak boleh tahan dan jatuh sakit sekali lagi dan lebih teruk lagi ...
Don't wokri ... tak lari ke mana gunung yg dikejar sebab your cat is kept indoors and is not exposed to any new diseases through new and strange cats kan? So the vaccine can definitely wait ...

What about deworming? Neko-chan haven't gone through deworming yet..
A few weeks after antibiotic before vaccine? I s'ppose I can do that.. my kittens usually gets discomfort after a vaccine.. a vaccine right after a long diarrhea battle might be too hard for Neko-chan to handle.

Deworm is ok, tapi tunggu a week or several days after her poo is betul-betul ok. My vet always tell me that the stress can kill off your cat if he/she tak betul-betul ok. And dia selalu kata treat one thing at a time.

Hi...
Try your best to keep feeding the cat. The cat memang cantik pun. Tempat I tinggal pun banyak stray cats. I feed them on daily basis. Ada seekor anak kuching tu ada mange kat muka, telinga and kaki. Mata dia pun ada infection. Sedih I tengok dia. Before that, he is a good looking kitten.
I continue to feed him. Kekadang dia tersentuh kaki i. What I do is bila I sampai umah, i won't allow my kuching to touch me. I will cuci dulu seluruh badan i dengan sabun.
Kalo i mampu, i will send him to the vet for treatment. Tapi, I tak mampu ni. Feeding the stray cats is already an extra expenses for me. So i kena budget betul-betul ni.

erickie67, tolong bawa kucing tu utk mange treatment segera, senang merebak dan kena kepada kucing-kucing lain. Nak murah, pergi klinik kerajaan, consultation RM30, complete treatment of 3 syringes of Ivermectin (satu dose seminggu) lebih kurang RM5, ubat mata RM4.50. Kalau klinik UPM ada diskaun 15% lagi atas jumlah.
Klinik swasta harga consultation adalah lebih kurang sama tapi harga ubat lebih mahal.

i skrg tak dapat cari pun kitten tu bila i go about with my daily feeding. Entah dia sembunyi kat mana. Macam mana la nak bawa dia gi vet.
leh ka u recommend vet-vet kerajaan yang mana i harus gi. i stay kat PJ.

Oh my God ... jangan-jangan kena makan anjing ... atau dia jatuh sakit kena flu virus (kitten senang kena serangan virus dan very often they die in the cold outdoors and wet drains) ...
From my experience, kalau the cat/kitten don't appear for feeding by the second day, I get very, very worried and really look for it sebab normally the cat/kitten would be sick and dehydrated and can die very fast ataupun dia kena kecederaan. ... atau mati kena makan anjing liar ... Kalau kucing (especially kittens) nampak sakit and especially if not eating well, it needs medical attention very fast.
Kalau erickie67 tinggal di PJ, there is a govt clinic di Persiaran Barat dekat PJ Hilton Hotel. Kalau Serdang there is the UPM clinic dan kalau kat Cheras, there is the govt clinic which is not under UPM, I think.

hi eric..i've read your blogspot...we are in the same boat, am leaving in bdr tasik selatan ..but the difference is am not a camera person..kalau aku ni rajin mcm you all..mesti penuh blog aku dgn gegambar the unfortunate ones ..dari yg dlh dah jadik dsh..yg dsh terus jadik no bulu left..not to mention the mak buyong gang ...tlg pon setakat yg termampu oleh poket...soon am moving out ...praying so hard for good soul there to continue visit them at the usual place - tempat sampah...

Hey Eric, nice blog.. so many pictures and good work for feeding those strays.. .. wish I could be as dedicated
I haven't posted about Neko-chan for quite sometime...... she is healthy for now. I still keep her confined to her cage since I saw she had another ringworm infection. Luckily the ringworm cream doc gave me is still plenty. After a few days of application, the crusty ringworm spot is gone and the skin has gone smooth. Though it's not easy to check on her since she is still quite fierce. Growls alot when I try to check her body while she was eating.
Her diarrhea... sadly is still there.. Thankfully, with the food Kak Zai recommended, her stool has become more firm but lately it smells rather sour. I googled it up and it seems it was due to overfed. I think it was a mistake to put extra food on her bowl, she seemed to eat everything in sight (food only..luckily). So, now I control her food consumption by giving 3 meals 1/4 cup per serving. Her antibiotics for diarrhea has finished and I think I'll wait till next week and monitor her condition. If her condition doesn't improve by next week.. to the vet we go...
She plays on her own now and then when I check her up.. her scruff is normal (hydrated enough..she drinks alot, which is good).. apart from her diarrhea, she's good. At least her bum looks so much better than it was 2 weeks ago..
