Half paralyzed
Hi there,
I have a dog which is a mixed breed.She is a short and small breed dog and is about 10 years old now. Few days ago, she became half paralyzed (lower half) in a sudden. We have sent her to the vet and the vet suspects that she has a slipped disc. The vet said that it doesn't look good as she has lost her sense at the lower half of her body. He did an x-ray but nothing alarming is found.
I would like to know:
1. If anyone had encountered this before, what should I do next?
2. If there are alternative treatments other than a surgery? I would not be able to pay for her surgery.
3. Are there any recommendation on affordable vet around old klang road for a second opinion?
