Pets For Adoption - Gender

In addition to what are usually stated under pets for adoption, I think it will be useful for those who are putting pets up for adoption to state whether the pets are male, female, neutered (for males), or spayed (for females), in addition if applicable, of course, to state whether they have been vaccinated, dewormed, etc.

I'm a bit confused by your comment. Petfinder adoption listings DO include all the information you mentioned. Look at this listing, for example. (I chose it at random.) It tells the gender, age, whether the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and more.

I think what I saw was one general page of pets for adoption, which might have just been a summary.

Now I realize that if I click on a particular pet, the details such as I thought would be useful are already given.
