kita memang selalu kene plan. Nak bwk kucing travel, puasakan dia. Malam sebelumnya last meal kul 9pm. Sbb tu show punya peraturan pun camtu kan. Baca betul2 arahan sebelum bwk kucing pergi show. Nak bwk meow gi vet untuk suntikan, atau deworm pun sama, memang kene plan la kan. Tapi kalau gi sbb emergency, hmmm kak zai pun takde idea la nak wat mcm mana....

agaknya kereta goyang2 tu yg dia layaaan tu hahaha.

tapi betul kata kak zai, mmg nak bawak keluar kena plan. kalau u tau pukul brapa dia selalu poo lagi bagus. kalau cat show mmg kena puasa mlm sebelum tu...

hmmm ataupun dia terlampau selesa dlm carrier tu kot? mcm my cats cuma Akan poopee tempat dia selesa je. kdg2 dia buat hal poo kat tpt lain tapi I perasan tempat tu mmg tpt lepak dia. so kalau u mmg dah puasakan dia...tapi x berjaya apakata beli carrier baru hehehe

Even puasa pun melepas lg ke? Cuba tukar carrier yg open sikit. Kot dia rasa lain je bila nak melepas. Sekadar bg pendapat. Tak pernah pulak alami sendiri

I think your cat (like many cats) have developed a phobia concerning cat carriers and associates the carrier with unpleasant experiences. You need to help your cat get over this and start associating the carrier with good things and pleasant experiences. Many animals pee/poo out of fright, even humans, and I think that is what is happening with your cat. It became very stressed and terrified being inside the carrier. Even if you buy a new carrier, it will be the same. The cat is terrified.

What you need to do is to remove the door of the carrier, spray some diluted garbage enzyme to neutralise the odors inside the carrier, line the inside with several layers of newspaper or towel and put some of its favorite food in a small bowl right at the innermost corner of the carrier (it will have to enter the carrier by itself to get at the food). Do this with every feeding. After feeding, remove the bowl so that the cat will develop a desire to crawl into the carrier to rest or sleep. Put a few of its favorite toys inside the carrier. You might even start by taking off the top of the carrier and let the cat use the carrier as its bed and place of comfort and security. Later when it is more used to the carrier, put the top on minus the door. Never close the door because you do not want it to feel trapped and the phobia returns before the training is completed.

Do not use too small a carrier. It must be big enough to put in the cat plus a small cardboard box lined with newspaper and stuffed with several balls of crunched/squeezed shredded paper. The cardboard box must be just big enough for the cat to lie down in snugly, and give it a sense of security during travel. Do not use litter sand which can get very messy, dusty and dirty.

setuju ngan apa yg Forrester cakap...

anak HK nama manja mmg jenis fobia ngan segala bende barang bau alatan yg digunakan or ada dlm klinik...especialli carrier sbb die tau kalu masuk carrier nak g klinik...everytime masuk carier sure lengkap kencing n berak...siap ade cirit lagi...mmg lemah laaa....

apa i buat, i kemaskan carrier cantik2...letak air/food, lapik ngan kain/towel...masukkan die suruh overnite(ini untuk die be ready yg esok nak g vet, so biar die get ready in her own way)...sok kuarkan masuk dlm cage tuk brekfes...kalu sempat pagi2 masa panaskan enjin i trus bawa die g jenjalan dlm carrir tu sambil die brekfes dalam kerete...pusing taman 2-3 round...borak2 ngan die...cakapla...petang kang nak g jumpe dr intan...manja jgn nakal2...sian mummy kena cuci bontot manja sbb mucuk berak...so petang pegi la vet...masa kat vet tu pon penting....u kena concern yg die mmg takut nk g vet(wlpon u ade 5 ekor yg lain,u just borak2 aje ngan diorg...xpayah nk specel treatmen)...so its better u bawa towel yg tebal n besar...tuk peluk yg penakut tu while u waiting...towel tu tuk balut die sbb da poo n pee kan...jadi kita xkotor...sambil tu mengeringkan poo/pee pada badan die...basah2 tu kan sejuk kena angin...sian die...after 3-4 times lelama die akan mula ok...make sure u g vet yg sama n org yg sama sbb its take time for her to feel comfortable ngan environment n the doktor...sbb bila asik bertukar2 especialli tempat...susah untuk die rasa selamat n selesa...anak2 i yang lain mmg baik bila pegi vet...nak cucuk or amik suhu badan pon xpayah nk pegang2 or usap2..biasa diorg nk nyorokkan muka/kepala kat bawah ketiak i aje...nk buat apa ngan badan diorg apapon diorg redha aje....sume pon need practise and sabar is the key...diorg pon sama macam anak2 kita yg menangis terjerit2 xmau g klinik or hospital...fobia kan...be smart and sabar ngan kerenah diorg jgn marah2...bcos bende tu mmg naturali nak terpoo n terpee sbb da takut sangat...pastu ngan u lagi marah2 n monyok...make them feel down n very sad...always smile n laugh ngan all the mess diorg buat, bcos u won't know what they will do for u in future...
