Dog Vomiting Blood
Dear all petlovers,
The time now is 2.00am and I'm writing from Penang.
I can't sleep and feel terribly sad for my dog. She is 8 years old and a mix breed.
5 days ago my dog stops to eat as she was not in a mood due to unknown swollen ankle.
3 days ago she starts to vomit with white and yellow mucous.
And yesterday morning she started to vomit blood with mucous.
I admitted her to Life Vet in Green Lane and before I left she vomited fresh blood without mucous for 3 times.
I'll see her again next morning but the vet is asking me to get prepared for bad news and he rate her survival on 50/50. The vet diagnosed her with severe stomach ulcer due to 5 days of fasting.
My questions are (I hope I still can read some good advice before everything is too late):-
a) Is there anybody who has this encounter before? Please share your experience.
b) Peng Aun I heard is good, any advice? I don't think she can make it for another couple of days.
Please help.
